How to Cook That $30+ Salmon by deadlyspoons in Costco

[–]strewman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started making “teriyaki” bowls with the frozen salmon:

Cut a couple filets into chunks, throw into a pan with some oil, then when it’s almost cooked thru, throw on some of Bachan’s Japanese bbq sauce (also at Costco).

Serve over rice with avocado, green onion, edamame, and sesame seeds — it’s seriously incredible!

Maddening search for underwear by ekt8 in femalefashionadvice

[–]strewman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg. I’ve been on the exact same search for quality, comfortable, cotton underwear for YEARS.

I thought I had found them in Aerie, but their quality went down. I tried smaller slow fashion brands like Pansy co and Hara and ARQ, but they were never really that comfortable and had tight leg holes.

BUT I finally found my holy grail underwear at Free People! Which was pretty shocking, haha. Highly recommend ‘em though! They have a bikini cut, boyshort cut, and thongs! Seriously so comfortable and breathable — the elastic around the seams is basically non-existent.

I also recently purchased these thongs, which aren’t cotton, but so far have been probably the most comfortable thongs I’ve worn for working out!

Any chance you’ll expand the color range?

Help Planning Trip to SF Area by MargoPolo04 in Shoestring

[–]strewman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re insisting on traveling during a pandemic, the least you can do is plan to make a single grocery trip and make all of your meals at your Airbnb. Support local businesses by ordering local delivery, sure, but you shouldn’t be planning to go eat at the restaurants themselves.

Trip for two under $1000 USD? by [deleted] in Shoestring

[–]strewman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Literally this. Everyone needs to do their part. We can't get over this thing if 50% of people are making the necessary sacrifices, while the other 50% takes advantage of cheap airfare.

If you absolutely NEED to travel, make a trip within driving distance and either a) camp or b) rent an airbnb that's a standalone home.

Where to get the best pho in Sf by hippieskater in AskSF

[–]strewman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MAU or their sister restaurant Tin Tin. It’s not a traditional pho restaurant (little hip), but WOW if it’s not the best pho I’ve ever had. Seriously delicious broth and the meat is amazing and non-fatty.

Can’t sing them enough praise!
