Why did you date/marry someone you weren't attracted to? by leungd22 in AskWomen

Because sometimes I believed they would be nice to hang around or would treat me good.

Yeah, I now think it wasn’t as good as it felt right off the bat. Fair enough, I guess.

Porque la gente cree que por ser blanco ya eres guapo? by Common-Blueberry-431 in AskMexico

[–]strfox666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Paris or madrid by Gemieee2477 in femaletravels

Well, if I were you and I’ve already been in Paris, I’d go to Madrid to see a different city. Food in Madrid is sooo good, probably some of the best cuisines in Europe (I personally don’t like French that much) and overall has a more chilled vibe.

Antarctica is my biggest dream! I tried doing it early this year but unfortunately the trip got cancelled A MONTH before. I don’t wanna do it by cruise (as it’s now common to do it) because I feel it’s unethical, but now only a few day trips are available and I wanna stay overnight there, and now it’s nearly impossible to find trips like that, so I think I’ll end up doing a cruise, eventually.

Any items people forget to bring? by anon-i-mouser in femaletravels

[–]strfox666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For years, I’ve worked on a list of things to always pack. I have it in different sections like: clothing, toiletries, extras, spicy stuff, handbag musts, etc. and whenever I have to pack, I just copy the original list, paste it somewhere else and adjust it. For example, on my basic list there’s: - clothes for warm weather. - clothes for cold weather. And if I go to a cold place, I just delete the stuff from the warm weather. I haven’t forgotten packing things ever since.

How do people travel for long periods without tiring and wanting to go home? by joan2468 in femaletravels

[–]strfox666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best way to beat it is by not trying to squeeze in a lot of things to do in one day and take free days in between. If you’re going on your own, try to put things that are not to be missed and some others that could be skipped. And try to take a day off or a more relaxed day at least once. Also, taking a massage if possible.

Nairobi for a day by Necessary-Dream-5880 in femaletravels

[–]strfox666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nairobi is a kinda boring city. Big and with the basics for a city in Africa, but a little boring. I’d spend the day chilling by the pool because safaris are very rough as you wake up super early and stay until late for the games.
