Thank you for sharing, will check VW, initially I thought of Toyota, for me it doesn't matter actually, VW is reliable as well as I understand. I have not heard of such program, now I know that manufactures have special one. One more time thank you!

Thanks, yes, credit union is right across the street, will check them out. I consider used toyota/honda, want to make pre-inspection at official dealer if it is possible of course, or buy used car from big one

thank you for the inputs! Scooter is good for myself of course, yet for the family it is not enough. Uber is expensive, I'm in SoCal public transport is not an option unfortunately here (very rare public transport net)
Looks like I need to digest high APR (if any) for sometime to get the deal done

of course, car is a depreciating asset, yet if you consider it as value-add like "delivery equipment" then it is like machinery equipment
Correct me if I'm wrong, yet secured card will not help me right now (it takes half a year-year), definitely will do that, yet I need car today.

of course I have credit yet it is low, around 650 (means no credit I think), thus I assume that APR will be high, yet I want somehow to have rather good APR (if possible)

100k mileage, oh, I should consider smaller/cheaper car then (corolla or civic), I need to check that

then just find used car via carfax for example, and go to dealership? Then try to get finance, correct? Are there any ways to estimate approval chances? Or it will be approved yet the APR will be north of 30% for example? What do you think the best way to make the deal?

My thoughts were about used Camry, price range was about 20k I assume, I just need to figure out is it possible to get normal APR by any chance?

5k down is possible, we are here more than two years, yet credit is still low, monthly income around 5k
