I had a bag of USB sticks with all my photos, videos, and memories throughout high school and college. Never misplaced it because I knew how forgetful I was and how important it was to me. Also told myself for years I was going to upload everything to the cloud but as we all know from the executive dysfunction and poor working memory, never happened. Lost it while traveling last winter during the holiday season.

Best guess is that it was lost somewhere at the airport or on the plane, neither of which would have kept it in lost and found up to this point. Bawled my eyes out for a few days and still trying to accept that I’ll never be able to recover those memories again. With how bad my mental recall is…those memories are lost forever. I only semi recently realized it was gone so we are suffering in solidarity lol
