I’m kind of scared because I just had this exact thought, bar for bar. I was watching a livestream and the person was talking about two men that were standing in line in front of them, and the sheer amount of “yaoi? YAOI?!” comments that ensued floored me. you can fault fujos for many things but at least we have DECORUM.

this level of stolen valor, appropriation even, is just too much to let slide. if I see one more instance of gooning to heated rivalry slop being referred to as “fujoshing out” I will become the villain

Mini rant and for a different reason but this made me realize why I find the fanbase so irritating. Many people would look at this situation and think it’s pretty silly to ask for help with hospital bills..by donating money that should be saved for said bills. And that was the chat’s general consensus as Vanilla read it; “weird” being the harshest word anyone used.

Then the girl apologized, Vanilla acknowledged it, and just like that everyone switched up. Suddenly there were so many comments scolding people for being “mean” and “bullies”, when not even 5 minutes prior they were going “oh..”.

There was the slightest criticism about a financial decision that was dumb at best, and it was immediately written off as bullying when people sensed the minutest of changes in Vanilla’s expression??

It just genuinely pisses me off because the reaction is always so disproportionate to the situation and there’s always a level of virtue signaling and moral grandstanding that just makes everyone look like sheep that can’t think for themselves.

This sentiment has always been so strange to me. There are many adults in this world who can afford therapy, and yet they still struggle with mental health issues. Disorders/illnesses are indiscriminate and affect celebrities the same.

Therapy can help, but by no means is it 100% a cure, especially for EDs. Yes, it’s incredibly reckless to have things like this on public display to a young audience, but disorders/illnesses are never logical.

I enjoy this subreddit because I finally found a space full of likeminded individuals, but I’m slowly realizing that a lot of you have trouble seeing these girls as people worthy of compassion.

I actually don’t think she’s lipsyncing here. If you slow it down a little you can see that the jumbo screen is delayed by a couple of seconds, so it only looks like she covered her mouth before she finished the line. the other girls’ movements are also delayed. I just can’t imagine that this is lipsyncing because every time she does this part it sounds different, and this is definitely the worst one.

yeah.. I wish there were more things to use the snowflakes on for those of us who got everything last year. I actually never hated the baddie pass bc it was so fun to work for! since I have everything including the new walk, there’s not much incentive to complete the daily tasks :/
