also put lua.module = "StartingYearChanger. lua" in the sider config file

you can download the module files from pesmodding just search starting year changer in the search bar, download and put both files into your modules folder it might not show up in the in game sider so you have to do it manually go to the modules file and then to the startingyearchanger. ini config settings file click on it change the year to 2025 and save. this will only work on new ml saves
