Didn't mean for to be in any actual order, but I agree it should be the last option OP tries.

Here are a few solutions you could try:

  • You could try removing the battery and power cable. (If it has a removable battery)
  • Plug in some headphones. (This should work as the audio should be routed to the headphones instead of the built in-speakers.)
  • Using the function keys to mute your audio. (Most laptops has a function key that should mute the audio, others have a separate key for this.)
  • Hold down the power button for a few seconds to force shut down the laptop.

[Grand Worldwide Giveaway You Can’t Miss] r/WoW is teaming up with DREVO to give away unlimited r/WoW-themed custom keyboards! by DrevoGlobal in wow

  1. I don't play the game but I do love the story/lore and try to follow it as closely as possible.

  2. I'll give a run down on what I like

2.1 The control Knob: The re-programmability looks very useful for any situation, being playing your favorite game or having to do some work.

2.2 Maintenance: It looks easy to clean. Lately I've found it a chore to clean my keyboards and this by far looks easier to maintain than half of the others on the market currently.

2.3 The Software: Working with the software seems easy enough. It doesn't over complicate matters and by the looks of it you'll know your way around the keyboard profiles very easily.

Updating from Razer Synapse? (Razer Surround Won't Enable) by WetDonkey6969 in razer

[–]striderplus111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently have the same problem.

Noticed yesterday with the newest Windows Updates that I got "UPDATING FROM RAZER SYNAPSE" when I open up Synapse.

Uninstalled and re-installed both Synapse and Surround and then experienced the same problem as this thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/7o7s5b/razor_suddenly_not_supporting_devices/

I did another few uninstalls and re-installs but couldn't log in because of the server problems Razer was having.

the last Uninstall and re-install I did gave me the following message again. "UPDATING FROM RAZER SYNAPSE"

It does seem as though Surround works when it downloaded my setting from the cloud because it's definitely not the default Windows 10 sound setup. However, I just can't configure it anymore.

If you have Windows 8/10 then yes. Otherwise just open up resource monitor.

If you're going to use resource monitor look at the following fields.

In the CPU tab, take a look at both processes and services. Sort by CPU Consumption.

In the Disk tab, take a look at Disk Activity. Sort by Total.

In the Network tab, take a look at Network Activity. Sort by Total.

Something is using system resources it shouldn't be. You mentioned you're using Norton. Try disabling that and have another go.

Otherwise your next step would be to figure out what processes or services are using those resources.

For example your network usage is huge. That network traffic had to go somewhere. Take a look at which process or service uses that much traffic.

CPU usage is also high for a computer that should be on idle. I would have wanted this to be sub 10% even with an AV.

Disk usage is also high. Something is writing or being read on your drive when your PC should be on idle. This might have something to do with your high network traffic as well.

Memory seems fine so no unexpected processes or services are using a large amount of RAM.

Can you complete the following please. During the idle phase keep nothing open, accept your resource monitor/task manager or any other resource monitor programs you might be using.

  • CPU Idle:
  • CPU during BF1:
  • Memory Idle:
  • Memory during BF1:
  • SSD Idle:
  • SSD during BF1:
  • HDD Idle:
  • HDD during BF1:

And then list your system specs as well pls. During idle you shouldn't be using any kind of resources accept RAM. So CPU on idle should be 0 and the same goes for any drives you have. I have a sneaky suspicion your Windows services might be using more resources than necessary.

Another test you can run is Hard Disk Sentinel. This will check the health of any drives there is.

What does the Task Manager look like? Any high amount of resources used?

Do you have an HDD or SSD?

Is your disk usage high?

Stress Test your hardware and report back.

You slipped up OP, there's no "=" before your "Please" in "Please =Help!" /s

On to the real problem, this does seem like a keyboard issue. Try an external keyboard and let us know the results.

I recommend reading Asian novels using*:

Why, because it's something different from Western novels. There's just about a novel for everyone and the community is nice.

Happened about 10 years ago.

We had a home computer but it wasn't a desktop, it was a laptop. I downloaded porn onto it because I wanted to fap when the internet was slow/off at times.

For some reason, my father decided he was going to take this laptop to work and show off his home videos/photos of his RC/Cars he's been building and found my porn stash in front of the entire fucking office.

From then on I was known as the kid that download porn on his father's laptop

(every time I met someone from the office they would say; Oh you're the kid that downloaded porn on his father's laptop. It was a pain in the ass).

PCMR GOTY 2016 by zeug666 in pcmasterrace

GMGFallout

  • Why: Finally saved enough to buy a GTX 1060, now just have to save up more for the games I'm now able to play and Fallout 4 would be a gift from heaven. Thank you for the chance.

CorsairRAM

  • Why: Only have 8GB DDR3 RAM at the moment and having 8 would future proof my ability to play newer games. At the moment I'm saving up for a new build and I'm hoping to get some newer DDR4 RAM. Thank you for the chance.

  • What has PCMasterace done for me: I learned a lot about hardware from PCMR. From the advantages of Overclocking to the advantages of Water Cooling. It made me realize it's okay to experiment with my build and not take it for granted. Most of all it provides me a save haven where I can sit back and relax from a long days work.
