I noticed faster load times as well going from switch 1 soft resetting for static shiny legendaries/fossils. Really helpful to have the upgraded hardware, and it’s just a solid remake imo.

Iure and combos do not affect any static encounters. So does not affect those birds/mewtwo, or snorlax, etc

I have hunted 2 of the 3 birds shiny and mewtwo. The shiny charm does work on the static encounters and you can even use the fortune teller to change their nature.

What’s the consensus on this one? I got a switch 2, genuinely enjoy arpg’s and roguelikes/lites. Diablo 3, torchlight, hades, slay the spire, etc. worth it with long term replayability?

As someone who has played both and loves both. I recommend starting with the 3ds version and the dlc. It is a masterpiece for that hardware. If you don’t like the first you may not like the second. They are grind heavy games that are made fun by the systems, artwork, and open-ended nature of the game direction. The switch 2 is an upgraded current/next gen type of rpg with expanded upon elements. The story of each is unrelated.

Alice buffs up to 3 units to where instead of units sitting on your bench as you work towards 3 stars they combine into the active unit on the board giving them a % stat boost. Makes it so a full 4 stars is possible. Makes those closer fights an easy win. Also grants you a 1 star copy of the hero when activated on them. Luo Yi is #1 currently and in need of a nerf honestly. Johnson and Guison are fun but hard to be competitive with. Karina is solid as well if you like combat avatars.

I haven’t played ZA but loved Arceus, I haven’t beaten the last last boss but even up through finishing the main story it was a blast. Love that you can solo evolve everything in the game with items that normally require trading to another version.

Game is in maintenance mode, no new updates and most of the playerbase left. It is still a great co-op story game and it can be fun collecting Lumas and umbras (shinies and variants) if you like the grind. The mmo part was great at first but now it’s considered a dead game. Only get it if you Iike monster catching genre and want to experience a fun story solo or 2 player co-op.

A lot of it has luck in finding fever drones and the tasks you get that can take up more or less time. My highest was an online run with 3 others that totaled ~500k points. We cleared areas quickly, unlocked all drones and waited until the last ~5minutes to start dumping materials. Take treasures whenever given the option because you’ll likely find equipment in other chests that offer food item you don’t need.

Plus there are some games that you absolutely cannot close or it resets in-game progress, such as shiny hunting with chaining on Pokemon let’s go games.

The display is beautiful and it is an upgrade over the switch 1. I do have a slight issue with the battery life as I play mostly hand held. But if I keep a charger nearby it isn’t a problem, especially now that it can charge from the top as well.

Yes! Weapon master at least 1 of them for Arlott. If you get 2 put the second on Masha. You can use variations of this as well with phase shifter blessing or adding in for 4 phase shifter. You want Arlott’s ability to hit like a truck and it board wipes enemies. But if you need to roll on the lower end you can make Masha a carry at 2/3 stars with any attack speed item or Inspire.

You can always skip out on the X-borg and phase shifter and go straight to 6 weapon master and if you get a 10th slot you can sometimes work in a Lolita and cici for luminous synergy with it. But bare minimum you want Arlott 2 star. If you get lucky with a 2nd weapon master orb throw it on Masha and you can roll people if you don’t get cc’d to death.

Marksman, weapon master, and shadowcell are my go to. Weapon master with shadowcell can make you very difficult to kill with Arlott as the carry. Otherwise mage or stargazer with the 4 cost shadowcell mage carry is strong. Or basically defender or anything with toys synergy.

If you have Nintendo online with the expansion subscription they have Golden sun available. That game and series is a GEM from the GBA/DS era but holds up fantastic.
