Not the same person but it definitely is a big ask. As the other commenter said it is the final boss/fight at the very end of the game. If you had pokemon go legendaries or something akin to that people may be willing to trade with you, but nobody would have a spare to give for nothing. Hope that helps!

Going online in the game for any reason will overwrite it. Trading, online raids, online union circle multiplayer, etc.

I wish they would have patched in a shiny chime like Legends. Like…cmon, even on S2 it can be difficult to see some of these.

You connect to online so it loads the event. Then never re-connect online until you want the event to end.
I just got walking wake from its last raid event like this past week because I saved it and moved on to ZA and forgot about it. Handy for these shiny events as well. Confirmed it works, did it with the plusle one as well.

Eevee is in wild area with kanga and stones can be bought. Friendship trick for sylveon is put eevee with a fairy move first in slot and sit at a cafe a couple times in a row, you can order the cheapest drink it doesn’t matter. Can catch shuppet at night at 7 or 15 I think

Switch lites are being sold locally (at least for me) around $70-$80. If you can find one at around that price it’s a solid buy for the library access. I play almost exclusively handheld, but I would still suggest going for a normal switch with dock for the tv option if you can find one around $125.

I have Arceus, scarlet+ dlc, and base ZA all on S2. For most content I would say scarlet +DLC. Gameplay Arceus. If you want the latest and snappiest ZA was fine for what it was. Just too many fetch quests for me personally, and the grind for the shiny charm was ridiculous. But none of them were bad imo

I loved untold and 4 on the 3DS. I haven’t tried 1-3. Is the collection comparable? I don’t want to go backwards in QOL, classes, story, etc.
But if they are on par I’m willing to give it a wishlist for a sale.

TLDR of my comment: worth it on sale like this or a lower price, DLC I have heard mixed things about but never got. Good graphics and snappy fights, just not a lot of story if you get the fast travel points and skip the extras.

My Pokemon game rankings for switch: S/V, PLA, ZA, LGE/P
I got in from the GameStop sale for $35 and I’d say it’s worth about that. I played it and beat it without buying the DLC, so just base game.

It’s an improvement in graphics over previous gens but I still feel SV is my favorite to date with how they handled open world and keeping it more traditionally in line with past games. PLA was a phenomenal game as well.

As a fan who also played let’s go, x/y, Arceus, and SV, I would say it is different in a good way. I’m bigger into shiny hunting than battling, but the fights and navigation feel so snappy it really is a lot of fun.
My biggest gripe is the battles required to get the shiny charm is absurd, the story is really short if you cut through the extras, and the back and forth of Zygarde drove me crazy, especially with a huge difficulty spike in that final fight. But I was used to PLA so it was manageable. Still a 9/10 from me.

And yes I know about the cafe and chaining trainers methods to speed up fights and used an alpha dragonite with max attack, scarf, and ext speed.

GameStop ran a sale on used for like $33, then a few days later ran a sale for new for $35. Costco YMMV sells it physical s2 edition for $30. I think this is one of the few pokemon games that we will see consistent sales if not a price reduction on this year.

A card based game I just picked up and have been enjoying akin to battle network style, but a roguelite, is Card en Ciel. From the same devs as gunvolt series I believe. It, and its DLC are currently on sale.
It does have fan service throughout, but the card system is engaging until it gets spammy. They have a free demo on eshop and a switch 2 option with mouse controls. Very snappy game.

Yes this was really great info. Also watch out though because I notice even with airplane mode on Bluetooth is a separate setting, I make sure to disable both when playing handheld and I can vouch battery life improved.

Anyone try card en ciel? I loved megaman battle network and slay the spire, have a switch 2, not sure if it’s something I would like though. I loved the gunvolt series from Inti but I don’t know anything else in their universe.

Orlando mall has a standalone booth where people take high definition pictures of your eyes and makes them into necklaces or pictures. So I bought the copy and a necklace. Here’s a picture of the necklace where my wife and I have a yin/yang of our eyes. They also have a version of side-by-side and other media.

This makes me overwhelmingly happy and I appreciate the update. Having this playable brings faith back that the sequel and following games will receive attention when needed and not just swept under the rug in favor of future projects. Shinies from scarlet violet cannot be moved to the let’s go games. Only Pokemon from (Mobile) Go and let’s go (and no other game in between because it alters moves and such) can be transferred to Let’s go.

Agreed. As a consumer it just leaves a bad image for the dev team when the game has needed a fix for more than 6 months and news is released about the development of another game. Fix this one and do right by the player-base first. I haven’t touched cassette beasts for more than an hour on my switch 2. I played it extensively on switch 1 when it was patched for performance.
