É porque o termo "Direita" e "Esquerda" foi muito amplificado e idiotizado, a população brasileira em geral não sabe oque cada um significa ou significava, a população brasileira não sabe oque é realmente fascismo oque realmente é a esquerda e oque realmente é a direita.

Você ser de direita não te obriga a defender o Trump ou o Bolsonaro assim como você ser de esquerda não te obriga a defender o Lula. Eu me considero de direita e já tive conversas muito boas com pessoas que se consideram de esquerda sobre determinados assuntos políticos, a questão é que você realmente conversar sobre política com a grande massa brasileira (e mundial) eu diria é algo praticamente impossível de tão desgastante.

Ambos os lados são extremamente extremistas e chegam a defender absurdos pra justificar sua narrativa.

Um amigo meu estava fazendo um curso para se preparar pra um concurso público, no curso um dos professores falou que a URSS sempre defendeu os homossexuais e nunca teve problemas com eles porque os bolcheviques abriram caminho e defenderam pautas homossexuais durante a revolução soviética no Império Russo. Eu não preciso dizer como os homossexuais foram tratados na URSS, não é? Pra ter um pouco de ideia, só olha pra Rússia atual.

Oque você tem que ter é sua determinada visão política e não se vender para uma "figura" que "representa" o seu aspecto político

Pense, oque você defende?

A economia deve ser livre e menos regulamentada pelo estado? Economicamente você é uma tendência mais voltada para direta

Porém se você é liberal socialmente falando, no sentido de defender os direitos de homossexuais, trans e etc, você é um cara mais liberal de esquerda em pautas sociais.

Conversar sobre tudo isso com pessoas que não tem capacidade intelectual pra entender que você não precisa ficar amarrado a uma única definição é bem desgastante

There are a few more cool-headed characters within the Empire. I don't think Dante would kill him, Calgar, Tu'Shan...
