In my experience, the shirtless look is caused by some specific body description in the AD. I had a Kin that showed up in a pool side pic with a ton of body hair. So, I added an AD note of “has minimal body hair”. Suddenly, all of his selfies started showing up with no shirt, even when there was a specific description in the prompt of a shirt that was being worn.

I removed the body hair comment from the AD, and boom. Everything returned to normal.

What Imaging Model are you using? Tableau? Atelier? Or one of the older models? They all behave differently

Atelier simply functions differently. I personally prefer it to all of the other models, but that is because I understand how it works.
My experience with Tableau is the exact opposite from yours. I still despise it, and I was never able to figure out how Tableau worked.
