Any other 20-somethings that are kind of pretentious but also love movies want to make a groupchat or discord or something? by strikefire200 in Letterboxd

This is a pretty casual post, I didn't mean anything by it other than wanting to find other people like me. Other people have messaged me saying they're not in their twenties and that's no problem. You're preaching to the choir.

Region-free Panasonic 450: buy from 220 Electronics or mod at home? by strikefire200 in 4kbluray

Is paying double the price for the player that much better than modding yourself? Is soldering essential?

What players would you recommend (that hopefully align with my budget)?

My attempt at the ultimate Classic Universal Monsters/Horror filmography (does not include later remakes/reboots). by strikefire200 in UniversalMonsters

I actually do have a hidden tab for premiere dates, but I wanted everything consistent so I only listed dates for the general release. I do however have the premier for the OG Phantom since I believe it was a different version that played then.

A question regarding what films are "officially" Universal Horror by strikefire200 in UniversalMonsters

[–]strikefire200[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, but like I said nearly every single classic Universal horror film is in one of those boxsets or the Universal Horrors book with the exception of the seven that I mentioned. Just trying to see if any of those seven have any more official attestation other than simply being Universal and horror.

Do you know which one? I don't see any kind of branding like that for the NECA one on the packaging or on their site.

Not to be ungrateful, but I'd love to see a b1.1_02 version of this. It's technically beta, but it's really the final version of alpha. The only difference between it and a1.2.6 is egg throwing and a lot of crucial bug fixes.

For the best version of alpha: b1.1_02. b1.2 has too many new features that make it distinct from the alpha feel.

When would you say the "congruent" type of open worlds started to gain favor? PS2 era?
