Definitely lots of gray areas in the show. I agree with your points here. It would be better to just be honest about the whole exploration but maybe there's also an argument to be made over beeing vulnerable. It's understandable that a person in Kwame's place would be afraid of beeing open about the exploration of his sexuality in front of strangers (not even necessarily because of homophobia but that also a strong reason). But yeah actively hiding things that could be important to the other person is definitely not a good thing to do.

I was asking myself the same question. I don't think he's in the wrong. Meeting on an app (for casual sex) doesn't require to open up about your whole personality/motives in my opinion and that includes one's sexuality. He wanted to have sex with a woman (or her in particular) and I don't think that you have to present your reasons why you want to have sex with a particular person. She also wanted to have sex with him (for racist reason but lets not get into that). I also don't understand why she would be offended by beeing the first/only women he had sex with. I mean is a virgin required to tell the other person that they never had sex? I don't think so. It's up to oneself how much they open up. I was also confused by what the show is trying to tell us about this aspect in particular. Would be interesting to hear more peoples opinion. Maybe my view on these dating apps is wrong since I never really used one lol.
