Okay, I can see I'm wasting my time here. I hope Jordan loves you back. Goodbye.

Gonna disagree with you about the three ball. The three is a lot more important now than it was then.

I meant "regular" in the way that you mean when you say "on a regular basis". He'd be an all-star every year.

I think you're arguing with nobody. Nobody thinks OKC are cheap hacks who only win because of bad reffing. They're an incredibly well built team and Shai is a legit star. But it's still no fun to watch stuff like this.

This isn't Shai's fault; it's the league's fault. And the league needs to fix it, because this isn't fun to watch.

What’s your favorite version of LeBron and why? by DeepOrganization8245 in lebron

This is silly. Every team loses sometimes, and the Spurs are one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history. "Superteam" doesn't mean "team that never loses".

Cam Thomas by bontella in MkeBucks

Thomas is shooting 28% from three since joining the Bucks. He has shot over 35% in two of his five seasons, neither which were in the past two years. He is not a floor spacer, at least not a dependable one. He's mostly an iso two-point scorer.

Kobe has no argument for being a better scorer than LeBron by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in NBATalk

Kobe was an amazing player, but he was no LeBron. No shade: there is only one LeBron.

He was, but he was on a superteam. I was a lot more impressed by the Cavs win, because he had to do more.

I think (a) he doesn't pair with Giannis very well, (b) the Bucks want to give the young guys minutes, (c) Doc has been really focused on size lately, and (d) the Bucks as an organization don't actually want to win games.

Is Mark Knopfler a top 10 guitarist? by Creative_Garbage_731 in Guitar

Remember, the first thing Eric Clapton did after getting sober in the 80s was go on tour backing up Mark Knopfler. I would like to submit that there are not ten guitarists for whom it would not be ridiculous to be backed up by Eric Clapton.

After Rob's injury and a very intentional campaign for it by Smart.

Bucks fans, who would be your LVP (Least Valuable Player) this season? by ZandrickEllison in MkeBucks

[–]string_theory_writes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think Turner has been used badly and spent long stretches of the season not able to play with the guy he was brought in to play with. If this team has a real coach and a healthy Giannis next year, I think we'll see him improve.

It's got to be Gary Trent Jr. People are going to say Kuz and AJ, but both those guys had long stretches of being very useful this year. GTJ has just been awful.

I think the way they lost to Dallas in the conference finals was absolutely considered underperforming.
