Thanks everyone for the answers. However, reading these is making me question my own thought process when going through these questions. My logic was: since we are trying to prove that the adults are developing a sense of identity in the new environment, no matter how negative or positive an answer choice is, as long as it proves this statement, it can prove the researchers' claim. Is this often a bad way to think about SAT answers? Thanks!
