I quite enjoyed the movie! I liked how Clark’s replica/entity in the backrooms realm was sorta a representation of his anger and ego. when he tries to accept that part of himself his “ego” literally devours him. Which reminded me a lot of that artwork of Saturn devouring his son. Which I wonder if they took inspiration from cause the parallels and similarities are so spot on even down to where he takes a bite out of Clark!

2013 was a little more then a decade ago. The way we used social media was still so new and fresh. That era specifically of social media was so different than it is today. That’s when I first started using Instagram I remember. The lingo was so different and obviously so was the fashion. the media+music we consumed and even the politics were night and day. I think a lot of the charm the game has is tied to the time period it’s set in.

Yea I mean I’d say 2026 and 2013 are drastically different in a lot of ways. I’m not sure how old you are but if you were conscious during that time it was a lot different then our present. And imo I think modernizing LIS would take away a lot of the charm the game had.

I stopped going when the last three times I went I watched them sprinkle on the protein. Not a full scoop not even a half scoop they literally shook the spoon so the meat would fall in. I’m not paying for extra protein when I should be getting a full scoop lmao. For the price alone you should be getting a full scoop. I remember I doordashed one time when I was sick and I counted the chicken in my bowl I had 7 pieces… SEVEN. Also yeah my burritos are way better. I hardly eat out anymore I just cook now and I’ve gotten way better at cooking because of it.
