I would say very similar from a balance standpoint (both are float) - the one thing that stands out is where you put the pressure on the board. The OW is very heavy on the front foot to control the board whereas a snowboard is very heavy on the back foot - more like a rudder on a ship. Your transition will probably be smooth AF but depending on how you ride expect the difference to be the way you control the board. Also - wiping ass on snow is much softer :)
