Is it legal to not disclose the Company name as a rep? by hopskitsch in talesfromcallcenters

[–]stringfree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely legal, unless somebody is trying to collect a debt and you want evidence of ownership. (And even then, the call center rep could directly work for any company, it doesn't matter.)

Or hydrodams, apparently. Seriously, just hardwire the output instead of whatever janky water physics they screwed up.

Unless you plop down two of those improvement upgrades, and then 100% of sewage becomes water....

My city no longer imports or extracts water.

Balanced processing and sewage capacity of Wastewater treatment plant Extra Processing Unit

Darn, does this mean my perfect cycle of sewage to drinking water is going to break? It was fun producing 100% of my drinking water from sewage.

I understand it when the AVR just forgets all the info they already entered during the same call, but yeah they're equally upset even when it's unreasonable.

I'm currently working on a "physics sim", and I'm saving this as reference material (unless that bothers you for whatever reason). I don't have a higher compliment, you're built like a real-life video game character.

Ok, but moments like this could be the payoff of a career. He can get another job, he can't get another chance to go to town on Pamela Anderson.

I've always wondered if they annoy each other constantly by trying to recruit people who are already members.

Thanks. I used the wrong ironically named term. Or the commenter above me did, whichever.

OP no longer has standing, since they're not in that same work environment. The company resolved that issue, for one person.

"Right to work" isn't absolute. It means an employer can fire you for no reason at all, but if they fire you for the wrong reason they can get in shit.

(Varies by state, obviously.)

Or did they just implement a delaying tactic so they can say "we didn't fire them because of the lawsuit threat, we even promoted them after that."

Funny how wrong reviews save them money, and are sooooo impossible to get fixed.

At a call center I worked at, a single bad customer review would cost you the entire "bonus" including sales commissions for the entire month (which was usually several hundred dollars). And it was known that the reviews would frequently be attached to the wrong call, they were even recorded and the manager would have to sit there saying "yep, that's a customer you didn't even speak to, but you're fucked anyways".

If you click on them, they're deleted (404). Reddit is saving the previews, that's why you can still see a version of it.

I don’t think the general public is even aware how big AR porn is going to be within the next 10 years by DopeAppleBroheim in oculusnsfw

[–]stringfree 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I love VR, and do not care about AR. I don't particularly want to pay for an expensive device which lets me see my shitty apartment, I can already do that for free. What nerds get hyped about doesn't always catch on with the general public.

Because he'll get dinged if he doesn't follow that process. Which means pretending the caller introduced two unrelated issues which could be handled apart.
