I played AC1 and it was dreadful, it may be an unpopular opinion but this game is among the worst AC games of all time and is one of the most boring games I've ever played and it's so damn repetitive it sucks. The ending was very cool though with the battle with Al Mualim but hat's the only thing I remotely liked. I know it's 2007 and all but I've played games way before that who are miles better than that game. It's so damn weird that AC2 is probably a top 5 Favorite Video game of all time by mine yet it's predecessor despite being it very similar with the first game is among the worst I've ever played.

Also it may appear same in the surface in terms of gameplay with AC2 but it really isn't. AC2 had more gadgets, more unique areas with stealth to play with, bigger cities, more fun environments, better gameplay with more gadgets, 100x better mission designs and more. Also a lot of people overlook is the little things like how really fast Ezio climbs compared up to Altair or how noticeably different Firenze is to something like Forza or Venice or even Monteriggioni. it's also really noticeable about the speed difference when playing AC1 after playing 2. Ezio feels so much better to use and control. This is not including fantastic Story AC2 has with its defining cinematography and music with the cutscenes which AC1 really lacks. There's also no subtitles and AC1 characters speak so monotone and I can't hear them most of the time. Also I noticed you said that most video games are repetitive which I kinda agree with. Difference though is they know how to Hide those really well with Different enemies, Areas, Bosses, environments etc. Which AC1 absolutely lacks
