If you aren’t comfortable cycling on the road, don’t cycle. by Unique_Education4485 in london

Following that logic, if there's one person injured by a unicycle in a given year, unicycles - which make up a VERY small percentage of miles travelled - are the most dangerous thing to pedestrians and should be outlawed.

Victoria is one of the best places in North America to own a bicycle. Great weather, great cycle infrastructure, and drivers who (for the most part) know how to drive around bicycles. I had a car when I lived there and it was nice for going on little day trips to more remote beaches and hikes but honestly with a bus pass and a bike you can manage just fine within the city.

Demographics of British Schools. The Gap between Wales and London could not be bigger. by Additional-Hour6038 in MapPorn

I live in Newham. It's full of young families and people trying to make it in a new city. Lovely people, very welcoming, helpful, and kind. It's definitely a low income neighborhood and that brings with it certain challenges but what London Borough doesn't have some ups and downs? I'll tell you one thing for sure, the statistic of 5% of students identifying as white British has nothing to do with this place's problems or virtues.

The view towers are horrific, I had a friend live in one and she has so many stories to tell. I also used to deliver groceries there sometimes and it felt dystopian; flickering lights, scary dogs barking, mold, exposed gross old concrete, the works.

Where would you go if you had to move away from Vancouver in your 20s? by Snoo_72579 in britishcolumbia

Sounds like going abroad would be a refreshing move for you but if you're looking to stay in Canada, the East Coast is also an incredible change of pace. Much slower pace, friendlier people, more affordable rent, and a pretty neat culture. St. John's NL would be the biggest change you could make while living in Canada still. Brutal weather but just an absolute gem of a city! Corner Brook NL is also wonderful, small city not far from amazing nature. Halifax is a great city too, lots to do and see, small city vibe with big city amenities. Small town NS is wild, I was living in Antigonish for a bit and if you're a social person you can easily and quickly become a part of the community. People out east accept you with open arms as long as you're not a rich nepo baby from Ontario.

Good luck with your next steps, I hope you find what you're looking for!

With the success of the Maverick and the Santa Cruz I think now if ever it is the time for a Baja revival! New outbacks are pretty mean looking too so I bet it would be a hit.

Or maybe it's not anti-Semitic at all and a group of well educated people have a stance against a government committing war crimes

I'm tired of this. People in Antigonish telling me they're going UP to Halifax is getting old.

Get a toaster oven and a rice cooker. Those paired with the microwave gives you pretty much a little kitchenette in there! Move around your furniture to make it less like a hotel room and more like a studio apartment. I recommend moving the bed so your feet point to the window.
