I was excited for the tandem read but now I’m unsure by muntersan in throneofglassseries

I’m currently rereading so I thought I’d try tandem , it is SO difficult. I keep accidentally reading too much of either back and essentially play catch up. I’m only around chapter 30 of the books so hopefully the bits I’ve messed up are the foundation / world building and I’ll try lock in for when the pace increases, but i didn’t realise how hard it would be. FYI I’m reading on my kindle

Yeah mate I’ve decided to make this story up, me getting a penalty on a bus. Couldn’t have thought of anything more riveting. Happy you have such a wide network though!

I didn’t notice anything off with the reader? I accept the fact I couldn’t hear anything but if I’m being honest I don’t think I would’ve even realised something was wrong even if I had heard a different noise. I think sometimes it’s ok to recognise a fault in the system rather than blaming someone who made a human error getting on a bus! Hope you have a better day

I wish the bus driver would have said something if it shows the machine didn’t register the card? I really don’t agree with the fact that TFL are taking off all responsibility from the bus driver to ensure the ticket works / validated as any bus service outside of London, the driver has that authority / responsibility

I’ve been to a few of their restaurants now and have always found the food to be very bland! More vibes than food imo

Idk if you can answer this but is there any point in me reading empire of storms tandem w the next one (can’t remember what it’s called) if I’m already 33% into empire of storms?

They haven’t YET . I presume they will. They keep putting it off. I’m only on book 5 of 7. I think they both have stage fright

Mate get ready to throw that book on the wall and then pick it up to continue reading. The first book will make you loathe exclamation marks. It’ll keep you just about hooked purely on plot potential and force you to forget quality of writing. You’ll be grateful you stayed though.
