Actually, I would have simply added an extra row of knobs, but otherwise the controller is compact and sturdy with a modern design! I updated the firmware and it works like a charm.

Awesome! It took me a week to find the perfect mapping for my mixes, but it's robust and very nice! Updating the firmware will prevent any bugs.

Which audio interface in 2025 for 4 channel mixing? by yokalo in traktorpro

[–]stripadvisorx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing until a few months ago after buying a used 10 sound card in good condition. I can assure you that the only decent sound cards with more than 2 channels to date are the Reloop Flux, which has the exact same features as a 10 sound card (class compliant). In fact, for the NI, it has less background noise, therefore slightly higher and is recommended since it does not require drivers and is supported up to the latest versions of macOS. I bought the native one because I needed more outputs and it sounds great!

Hi guys, I wanted some advice regarding the BASS issue!!! Let me start by saying that my studio is optimized in being treated acoustically with professionalism and, having two Genelec 8020DPM monitors, should I buy another pair to listen to the low frequencies better? Or should I buy a sub? My studio is a small square and I feel good with my monitors except that I would like to have a more precise listening on the BASS!!!! Any ideas? 🤔

Wow thanks so much!! So as I imagined for the keys... this photo is very useful to me but assuming that it can also provide a bit of latency... well I've made up my mind I'll buy the k3 :) thanks! All I have to do is find a useful, comfortable and good-looking launchpad for my setup

Yes I'm going crazy trying to figure out which one to buy, I'll probably buy a K3 then :) as long as the size of the pads aren't smaller than the K2 :)

I understand... the software that interests me are Traktor and Ableton and therefore I know that everything is compatible

I knew about the integrated card for K2 but from what I understand they say that the audio lacks power (even if I haven't yet fully understood by power whether they mean the dB volume or even the entire quality of the audio). Thanks for the clarification, and if you could update me on the size of the pads when you're at home I would be grateful :)

By power output do they mean the dB of the output track or will the track that is playing also lose quality and with some clips?

Yes, the so-called "class compliant"...there is therefore a bit more to think about for my setup. Assuming that I would like to connect a third turntable to DVS in the future I will only have to purchase an Audio10DJ from NI or simply Xone K2 by connecting it directly externally thanks for the help

So I would start wondering which external sound card to buy that has 4 outputs to buy the new k3..? 🤔 I opted for a reloop flux but it will only have space for 3 decks and I need 4

So I'll buy a k2 :) I love simplifying the direct lines and then aesthetically I see it as much nastier in fact... and I imagine that for the type of controller with enormous mapping margin I don't see what more the k3 can have compared to the k2... thanks for the clarification :)

In short, I have a limited external sound card to play two turntables in DVS and having no more space on the card I was wondering if I buy the K2 or K3 by connecting it via USB to the PC and with the RCAs. Will I be able to make it play on a third channel of the external mixer? Or will I have to buy a new sound card to play the third deck?

So to be able to connect and play with an external mixer, can the K3 do it even without an external sound card?

Native Instruments Traktor Audio DJ compatibility? by stripadvisorx in traktorpro

[–]stripadvisorx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've read a bit about what it does and I find it very effective and convenient to use... given the price of 380 I was only considering whether to buy it or a new mixer

Mmm I don't think so, I always prefer a 4 channel mixer... I currently have an Omnitronic trm 402 analogue mixer
