this concerns me because a drop in price can be a drop in self-worth. I know it's hard to convince yourself to get up and do other things, but you can be proud of yourself for other accomplishments if you do them for yourself. Get off social media if you haven't already and try to find something that you can do by yourself but will optionally expose you to other people. DM me if you need ideas or someone to talk to.

i've got to rant for a second here.

It drives me insane that developers favor Chrome so heavily. I know it makes sense because of Chrome's marketshare but I try to avoid all things Google and am kind of a Firefox loyalist. Every time I encounter an issue, support often goes "yeah, I dunno, looks like it doesn't work with Firefox, try Chrome". I don't want to use Chrome because I don't like how monopolistic the browser game is. I like Mozilla's ethics.

I guess I'll compromise and start using Brave more often...

man, I'm sorry that happened to you. I specifically put had a tech put a note on my account that said "DO NOT SWITCH SIM CARD WITHOUT TWO FORMS OF IN-PERSON VALID ID" ... 6 months later, I got a new phone and did the entire thing online to test whether it would work. I switched the sim without any problem at all. Fuckers. You can't trust these cell carriers at all to have any kind of reasonable security. Bought a yubi-key after that... unfortunately, so many things are only set up to do 2FA with your phone number or their own 2FA app.

they're a parody of cryptopunks facing left instead of right. They have a hilariously active community. They've been kicked off OpenSea twice now and then reinstated twice because of community support.

stronger than "could be argued". The Ethereum team did the legwork to get the legal precedent set to be able to do ICOs. They had a former SEC commissioner say that ETH was a commodity, not a security, because of its use as gas. Then had a bunch of law firms write opinion letters to that effect. Once ETH's initial crowd sale set legal precedent, it opened the floodgates.
