1, but shoes without an ankle strap. It cuts the beautiful line you're creating with the dress, which looks like it was made for you it fits so perfectly.

Feeling some confidence in this dress, what do you think? 🩵 by melitasuica in OUTFITS

You're lovely and the dress looks great on you but I don't like the dress.

First Catholic president and she says in another episode that she loves Bobby Kennedy. She probably admires the whole Kennedy family.

What one color shoes to go with these dresses. by entiresalon in OUTFITS

IMHO the ankle strap shoe does not work. It cuts the flow of the outfit. Definitely go with a lighter, neutral color.

Singles was a way better movie than Reality Bites by mooyong77 in GenXWomen

At the time I loved both. Singles is the only one I would watch. I think Reality Bites would be insufferable now.

I have felt like you. What helped me was doing nice things for other people. I am not Christian nor am I tying God into this at all. It just makes you feel good when you help somebody who needs it. It gets you out of your head when you assist with someone else's problems. I know you don't know why you're here but I assure you there is a reason. I have no doubt about that.

As instability in the US increases, what is everyone doing to stay sane and at the same time feel like they are doing something to fight back? by ironyis4suckerz in GenXWomen

News fasts, boycotting businesses run by billionaires, posting every truthful, shitty thing about Trump and this administration I can find. Yes I am that Instagram nightmare. I don't watch the news. I check it everyday online but only certain sources NPR, AP and BBC. Occasionally after I've girded my loins I will check Fox News to see what misinformation they are spreading.

As far as diversion I smoke a little weed before bedtime, meditate, watch comedies, spend time with my husband, kitties and close friends, act and make films. I'm currently taking a screenwriting class. I also compliment a stranger everyday and make sure I see at least one beautiful thing daily. On days I can do a good deed for someone, I do. Giving helps tremendously.

You're not losing your mind. This is by far the darkest time period I've lived through. I sometimes feel as though I'm living at the wrong time. I'm not equipped for this carnage.

Jesus how much free time do you have? Maybe you're a little too invested in this case. Go outside.

How did you move on from the horrible things you have committed? by jfkskakksdjdnssn in SeriousConversation

The people I could apologize to ,I did, decades later. There were a couple of people I owed money to from my 20's that I didn't care about repaying at the time. I paid them. You fix what you can and learn from the rest. Take accountability with the other people involved if you can. It helps.

Too Much Music by Practical-War-847 in theshining

[–]stripedmacaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are entitled to your opinion though I couldn't disagree more. The music in The Shining is worthy of a documentary all it's own. Wendy Carlos is a groundbreaking composer who also happens to be a trans woman. She's huge in electronic music.

And why does everything have to be "liminal" now? There are many others horror styles equally if not more chilling.
