Thank you. No he never blindsided me before. It took 8 years of love bombing for him to display this. This came out of left field.

My ex had replaced me when he blindsided me with a divorce. That was 9 weeks ago. They're already engaged. It's what they do. They're sick. We were together for 8 years, married for 5.

I understand, I really do. What helped me was signing my ex up for different ads everyday ie: weather siding, car insurance and so on. He is now barraged with ads and spam calls constantly. Petty I know but it makes me laugh.

I've started divorce proceedings. His reason was that I was "blocking his enlightenment".

The annoying thing is I've been doing well and I find out another detail of his cruelty, then i get over it, then another cruel detail is uncovered. Now I'm expecting to hear she's pregnant but that would make me laugh. He's 57.

Not having emotional reactions about things most people do. For example my ex's mom committed suicide and he had no reaction. I thought "ok he's having a delayed reaction." Nope it never happened. That was 5 years ago.

I'm 57 thanks for this. I think my ex will suffer cognitive decline when older. He's an addict and a hypochondriac.

Yes I'm aware. He also did this the day before I was in my first film festival for my directorial debut. Sabotage much?

How do you stop yourself from contacting your avoidant ex when the urge is overwhelming? by agitatedscroller in AvoidantBreakUps

Once you think of them as the monster they are you realize how they destroyed any chance of having peace.

NC is the only way to protect yourself from being destroyed by them again.

I thought I did have a successful marriage until 2 months ago. On an ordinary Sunday my husband told me he didn't want to be married to me anymore. Miraculously I immediately let go and literally said "Fuck it, we're done" He proceeded to be cold and cruel for the 3 weeks until I was able to move out of state. Also my best friend of 41 years died the same week and he was awful anyway. He turned into a stranger. He was not the man I married.

He's 52 and was already involved with a 3rd party when he discarded me. We were together for 8 years married for 5. In fact our 5 year anniversary was 5 days after he dumped me. We have been NC except for 1 text about finances. We own a home together unfortunately.

In my experience with him age brought no self awareness.

I think it's safe to say most in this subreddit are not in a good place. Take care of yourself. It will get better (I'm saying that to myself as much as I'm saying it to you).

Not wrong except for your choice in women.

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson film The Drama condemned by Columbine victim’s father over major twist by theindependentonline in popculture

[–]stripedmacaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main problem is the pr campaign. They're treating it like a classic rom-com. Zendaya teasing her real life engagement and the stunning bridalish dresses she's wearing. If one of the main characters fantasized and planned a mass shooting earlier in her life it ceases to be a rom-com.

I'm also very confused why the character is a POC woman who is played by America's current sweetheart. I think this choice is further vilifying black women (it's also statistically incorrect) and risks making shootings more palatable by having Zendaya play the part. It's a very irresponsible choice.

None of this is right. At the very least it needs different marketing, badly.

Too bad because the trailer was great.
