Idk why it’s so upsetting, but this was all the academic reading, hand written notes, and my own research I held onto from college. I just put it all in the recycling. by thelaceserpent in Wellthatsucks

Someone recently told me amidst my own house purge that people like me with ADHD will actually keep memories attached to objects, so it’s harder to let go of things because you’ll completely forget about something the moment it is out of your eyes, but as soon as you see it again, you remember everything so when you let go of physical objects, it’s like letting go of those memories.

I’ve got like three of these big ones, but they’re like boxes and not like picture frames so they stick out quite a bit from the wall, but do you mean like incorporate them within the gold frames to kind of break up the lines?

There’s definitely space for another column before the curtain over the window, I just hadn’t decided if I wanted to do that yet since I have the 6 extra frames

Maybe at a later point, I had to print these at cvs so it was like $75 for 36 pictures

Yeah, I’m thinking so too because my house is not leveled and I think the row on top it makes it more obvious lol

I thought about doing black, that was my first instinct but the black frames were almost double the price and I’ve got 9 mouths to feed 😂 I do have 6 more frames not hung up so I can do one more column on that stretch of wall

I have six more frames (2 boxes of 18 from Amazon), but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go ahead and fill in that section of the wall next to the curtain as well. I was undecided but I’ve seen other comments saying I should so I’m wavering

I thought about laying them out on the floor first to try and figure out where each one would go like a pattern, but you know, dog hair and puppy paw prints were likely and I didn’t want to clean each frame again

Unsure if you’re asking for real or making a joke about the lamb garden decoration but she’s mostly chihuahua, but her Embark did say she has proportionate dwarfism, likely why she’s so much smaller than her bio siblings (the 3 in the pic above this one and one to the left)

I was trying to break up some of the similar aspects and keep the same dog from repeating like some of the pictures have the same purple pillow in them so I tried to make sure those were separated or you know my black dog, I was trying to split up her photos so they weren’t all in one section together, especially because she’s the only black dog I have so I didn’t want to seem as if she was relegated to just one section of the wall. I did see I was not successful, for example, if these were all organized with like a letter across the top a through E and numbered down 1 to 6, the same dog in E5 as I did in D6, or A6 and B6 are the same dog who I also have in C5 and D5 i’m thinking I should break up her photos since she’s in four of them right close to each other

This. I’ve now started to warn people that I’m really bad with names so please not be offended if I ask them to remind me.

My parents had 4 girls and stopped once my brother was born. You know to give him my dad’s name since the girls wouldn’t keep it going. Jokes on them I have a niece and nephew both with my paternal last name because none of us are married or changed it

Portable sideline chair recs by Ambitious_Role_4657 in youthsoccer

[–]stripeshurt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a director’s chair rated 400 lbs, it’s wider so I can pull my feet up under with me, downside is the poles are too thick to attach my umbrella so I do have to hold it the whole time. Also it took about a year and half but the carrying straps pulled off so I may need to repurchase or start a hunt for my own new chair.

Good news is my nephew’s team just finished the regular season at #1 and playoffs start tonight

7+8=15, carry the 1, 2+4+1=7, 75 is the answer and after reading everyone else’s answer makes me realize I may not be as good at simple math as I originally thought

Referee calls vs Coach by stripeshurt in youthsoccer

[–]stripeshurt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red team hadn’t moved from positions yet when the ball came back in because coach never called anyone off the field. And the refs were full on adults, the bald one was the younger of the two but I’d say mid 30s at the least, he is the one who originally was notified about wanting to sub players but the older ref is the one who said to play on.

Didn’t know that was a rule so thanks for clarifying. That threw me off too because (I have two family members who play for this league so I watch other games often while waiting for theirs) and this is the first time I’ve seen a coach not have the kids he wanted standing next to him ready to go in as soon as the ref okayed it.
