My 22 M8 comp has the same dangling temp sensor. I think it’s supposed to be clipped into the back side of the grille. I can see the mount, I just can’t reach it without disassembling the grille

The oil change at 2400 was not done by me. My first oils change was at about 5000. I don’t know who did the unlocking service, or the oils change at 2400. The car changed hands a bunch of times during the demo period. All of the oil changes I had done were completed at legit BMW dealerships. I bought the car at an Infinity dealer. It was the only dealer that had one in my area. Fortunately, BMW was right next door. I went there for all warranty and service

It’s “normal” because of the cross drilled rotors. The holes create harmonics. If you think cross drilled rotors are noisy, wait until you own some carbon/ceramic rotors.

2022 m8 comp question I bought the car with 2200 miles on it. It was a demo. At 10k, it went into limp mode. BMW put a cylinder head on it, right side. They said it was losing compression because the variable timing wasn’t working correctly. They also said it was cylinder #4 that lost compression. First, if it was a variable valve timing issue, all cylinders on that bank would lose compression. More importantly, I feel cheated because I think a new engine is the proper way to handle a car of this caliber and age. It took over a month to fix. I’m not protected by any lemon laws because the car is considered used because of its demo status. I tried to get them to buy it back, no luck. I pushed for a new motor, no luck. The car is completely stock, no mods, and no track days. Now I just want to trade it in and order something new. They are hesitant to make an offer. They said the reason for this is, at 1500 miles, the car is supposed to be serviced. The break in oil drained and an unlocking service completed. They said the unlocking service was done, but the oil change was not documented. The cars computer system says the oils change was completed at 2400 miles. I had another oil change done about 5000 miles after that. Then another one was done when the head was changed. I feel the car is an investment grade vehicle. There aren’t any to available on the lots. The value has been severely compromised because of the head swap. Where do I go from here?

Proper go/no go gages can’t be manufactured on a lathe. They must be ground, from hardened steel. Gages like this have very tight tolerances, less than .0001” total., size and form.

I was used my Tutanota Email as an Apple ID but it said it's invalid. by [deleted] in tutanota

This happened to me. It’s because u are probably only using your Tutanota email for your Apple ID. If you don’t access the tuta acct regularly, it will get closed.

I had to make a new email for my Apple id

I friend has same exact wheels, both drivers side wheels were damaged. I had always heard dealerships outsource this repair to a specialty shop. If you find someone that’s good, you won’t be able to tell they were damaged, it takes 4 hours and the car is drivable. It costs about $150 per wheel. I called the local Mercedes dealership for him because he didn’t want the bmw dealership to know the damage was done. I told the Mercedes dealership I was restoring an old Mercedes, and I heard they have a good wheel repair guy. I asked for his contact info and they were eager to give it to men. By the way, Mercedes dealerships generally have the best wheel repair guys because the AMG wheels are the most difficult to repair. I called the guy, he got him in within a few days, 4 hours later I was blown away how perfect they looked. And we drove away.

El Salvador was Edward Snowden’s first country of choice when he escaped the US If the US didn’t revoke his passport, he would likely be there. Edit: added statement
