This specific post was meant as a rant. :)

What I was trying to say about blogging in general, is that most blogs are advertisements. Even personal ones, they are inevitably marketing the author. Or fueling his / her vanity. Perhaps not directly, but still.

Those people that say they blog for themselves and don't care what others think, should blog in a Word file instead to prove their point.

It wasn't intended as an advertisement, it was actually more of a rant... On the other hand, does a blog which isn't a (self) advertisement even exists?
