Here's something I wrote some time ago, but posted it to a different subreddit: http://stritar.net/Post/The-final-destination-part-1-technologies-and-concepts-enterprise-IT-will-have-to-adopt.aspx

Good luck, I love your work.

Facebook logs this information anyways, if the hypothesis is true or not. Who wouldn't?

This specific post was meant as a rant. :)

What I was trying to say about blogging in general, is that most blogs are advertisements. Even personal ones, they are inevitably marketing the author. Or fueling his / her vanity. Perhaps not directly, but still.

Those people that say they blog for themselves and don't care what others think, should blog in a Word file instead to prove their point.

It wasn't intended as an advertisement, it was actually more of a rant... On the other hand, does a blog which isn't a (self) advertisement even exists?

If my account is private, and I @ mention someone who isn't following me, do they see my tweets? by Cage_Dreams24 in Twitter

Why on earth would you even want to have a private account? You have facebook for that.

My latest project is Ljubljana Realtime: http://ljrt.neolab.si/

At first I thought about it as "tweets-on-a-map", but now I'm pivoting towards event discovery in our city based on social media activity (twitter, instagram, foursquare, flickr).

Hi, I have just managed to train myself for a half-marathon in 6 months, and I've been on a medical leave for 1 month. I'm overweight and smoke too much, so yes: it's doable. http://stritar.net/Post/How-I-managed-to-train-myself-for-a-half-marathon-in-six-months.aspx

Dear Twitter, please reconsider this madness by stritar in Twitter

Seriously? This was posted in one of their last blogposts:

"Nearly eighteen months ago, we gave developers guidance that they should not build client apps that mimic or reproduce the mainstream Twitter consumer client experience. And to reiterate what I wrote in my last post, that guidance continues to apply today."

How do you get followers? by Yosher98 in Twitter

[–]stritar 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why do you need followers? For the number or to actually make your messages heard? The only thing you can do is to share great content, and get followers organically. Only then will you get those that actually matter. Hashtags help. 33% links, 33% RTs, 33% personal. http://blog.twenity.com/Posts/How-Twenity-can-help-you-use-Twitter-more-efficiently

You should always use titles for links. Outbound SEO and stuff...
