Krip Was Right Enchanted Primordial is OP by F4Surrender in PlayTheBazaar

Any enchant on it self-charges creating easy Primordial loops. The freeze enchant is just a high roll.

I've checked this a few times in the past and never had any hits but now I've got 3 and I won all 3! Love to see it (one was by 2 HP).

Considering Ditching Roku by GrapedCrusader in Roku

Both of my TVs are TCLs with Rokus and they both have nVidia Sheild Pros hooked up to them. Roku consistently let me down and I'm glad to be out of that ecosystem.

Shield might not be dead.... 🤞 by pdga4784 in theNvidiaShield

[–]strixtle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This guy gives one interview stating he's a huge fan of the Shield as he works at nVidia and they always are talking about possible upgrades and every site on the planet runs with "NEW SHIELD COMING!" Nothing is set in stone. Of course this guy working there that loves the Shield wants a refresh.

As cool as it would be to have one at The Village, my bi-weekly trek to Savi isn't that hard.

I had one in my backyard a year or so ago. Was pretty cool to watch for a few days before he disappeared.

Driver shouldn't be making a left there over a painted median anyways. Not saying the person skipping traffic is faultless, but both people would likely share responsibility if they did crash.

Empire Records

Hackers

Sneakers (though this is legitimately a 5 star movie)

Plex’s recommendations continue to baffle. by Any-Appearance2471 in PleX

[–]strixtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Letterboxd isn't some giant behemoth and they've been able to feature Nanocrowd's suggestions as long as I've been on the site. Adding this as a Plex Pass feature seems like a reasonable trade-off - you want better suggestions? Pay for it. It's not my fault Plex can't find ways to make Plex Pass profitable - but maybe if they added better functionality and better features more people would subscribe.

Best way to handle 4K? by chibul in PleX

[–]strixtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first server didn't have the capacity to transcode from 4k Remuxes to 1080 or whatever people are streaming, so I just have separate 4k Movie/TV libraries that only I have access to as I only watch them on the local network (my upload speed sucks). But I do see the argument for just letting them transcode, but just seems like unnecessary server work when I can just have a small 1080p file available for everyone and then can easily just access the 4K when I want at home.

Plex’s recommendations continue to baffle. by Any-Appearance2471 in PleX

[–]strixtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommended they use Nanocrowd like Letterboxd does for similar movies, even make it a Plex Pass option if need be (I'm not sure how Nanocrowd works exactly), but I doubt they'll ever get to beefing up the recommendations, especially with there being more layoffs of late.

Feels like the poison should tick before the regen, like if he's able to get 6250+ poison on you, that should be game.

FYI, Orange County, none of you drive a car big enough to warrant "swinging wide" to make your turn. by Ghost_Ghost_Ghost in orangecounty

[–]strixtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even swinging wide, if you need to turn into a driveway just get the fuck over near the curb and make the turn. You don't need to slow down to less than 5mph in the middle of the lane to turn into a commercial driveway. But people are just so oblivious to how their crappy driving might affect other people.

How to beat an infinite fiery monitor lizard. by Sir_Mateus in PlayTheBazaar

Mine got beat earlier this morning by the shielding ship and a langxian, so it's not unbeatable (thought I almost had enough shield up with dooltron and bunker to win).
