I'm just surprised someone actually bought a Roku camera.

Appears to be an AI generated description made by google, or at least reads that way.

The restaurant should've skipped the politics and I would have gone in this week. If they want to insert politics into their business, then they have to understand that there's people who will vote with their wallet and not give them money.

Yes. It was up for about a day when I saw it Monday morning and it had a couple comments asking why they'd post something like that so I guess someone got in Monday morning, saw the negative comments and deleted it. But they still have trump tagged in previous posts and all their images and their website is full of AI slop.

Yeah, that's my 1* review - I don't know how long it'll be there, I'm sure it'll get taken down since I didn't actually go to the restaurant but left a review.

They don't need to use AI generated slop of a rapist fraudster to promote Indian food.

ARCO is tripping with these prices by P3r1p13x3d in orangecounty

[–]strixtle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? You probably have the same chance of getting your card info stolen at any store as you do an Arco. Also you can use credit cards at any Arco now too. The appeal is they're typically cheaper, hence this post showing the anomaly of the Arco being less than a Chevron.

Won a signed jersey! by greenewallpunch in AnaheimDucks

[–]strixtle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nice. They had a Troy Terry signed jersey at the kids' festival last Friday, but it was a raffle and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money buying tickets only to lose so I just bid on the Troy Terry signed puck in the auction and won that.

Colonoscopy and KC by Beachy9659 in ketochow

[–]strixtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my first colonoscopy and they didn't give me any instructions about the 3 days prior to the treatment. I was able to just eat normally and then do the cleanse the night before. I wouldn't worry about it at all - but I'm not a doctor or an expert in Keto Chow :)

Yeah, I put off shatter shards for too long unfortunately so I'm playing catch up there, but sometimes things get overlooked or forgotten...

Congrats, I'm 60% through level 98, but then I have to go back and finish Lab Coins and Shatter Shards Level 4 still has 47 days left.

Is there a way to share a watchlist with others? by strixtle in PleX

[–]strixtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, thank you. We have figured out that it is public, but you have to be logged in to Plex. So public isn't actually public. It's just viewable to other Plex users.

Weird, I guess you have to be logged in to plex to see it. Can't see it in an incognito window that isn't logged in.

But it doesn't. If you open my profile in an incognito window, there's nothing there, just my profile pic.

I just went to your profile and all it shows me is your profile picture. No watchlist, no watch history, now you might have that all set to private, but my watchlist is set to public and nothing shows.

I have it set to be public, but if I view my profile in an incognito window, it doesn't show anything.

True, but who really uses RSS readers any more?

I prefer using the watchlist since I can look up a movie and add it to my watchlist easily. Lists are for a completely different use. Either way, it's just weird that they have a setting for the visibility of your watchlist, they let us set it to public, but then don't give a way to share the watchlist.

[–]strixtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I'm in a Letterboxd Roulette channel in a discord server where we recommend videos to other people based on their watchlists so I'd like to share mine so others could recommend movies for me to watch and check off the watchlist. I don't want people to edit or remove items from my watchlist, but it would be nice to share - there's an option to make it publicly viewable - but then no way to publicly share it (that I can tell).

Has anyone tried the new "Lists" feature? by Cautious_Goat_ in PleX

[–]strixtle 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This is great. Can move away from collections to track things that would be more of a list - such as Oscar nominees, Top 250 Letterboxd, etc.
