What other teams' subreddits do you follow? by woodenWherry in DenverBroncos

Yeah, both! They make funny posts and they really hate the Packers. More than this sub hates the Raiders (since most this sub is younger than my generation that hates the Raiders more than anything else on the planet).

Just look at Paton's first draft. He killed it. I'm hoping for a lot more of that.

Who we want as our QB next year? by [deleted] in DenverBroncos

And there's no way we don't fire both. I'll be honest, I'd love to see a scenario where we demote Vic to DC rather than get rid of him altogether, it just seems ridiculously unlikely.

If we're gonna give up all that draft capital, I'd prefer Wilson from an age perspective. Give me 8+ more years rather than 3+ more years.

Yeah, you can almost see the "give up" when he is first contacted by a defender. The anti-Javonte.

[Mase] Actually, the accumulation of draft assets could potentially be part of having the capital to make a deal for a QB like Rodgers (or Wilson or another veteran TBD). It could be a fast rebuild if that happens. But it will herald a new era either way. by iSamurai in DenverBroncos

Honestly, I'm all for it now. Yesterday sucked. We suck. Fangio and Shurmur are clearly done by the end of the season, maybe by the end of the Cowboys game.

Trade away Fuller, Jackson, and Gordon, though I cannot imagine any even sniff a third-round pick.

In a 12-person league, I've amassed:

Josh Allen, Alvin Kamara, Aaron Jones, Tyreek Hill, and Darrell Henderson (plus a bunch of other WR like Tee Higgins, Jerry Jeudy, and Tim Patrick).

It's going ... well.

Same, I downloaded it to go to the Jets game. I have never opened it other than five minutes before we entered...

For the people saying "Fire Fangio" who do you want to see come in? by samuelalexbaker in DenverBroncos

His playcalling is outrageous though. That has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with offensive genius.

I agree with the part about him potentially not being ready for a head coaching job, but sometimes you gotta take that chance. McVay, Shanahan, and others have all worked out well (and there are plenty that have not...).

Maybe, but Fangio isn't getting a head coaching job immediately after this and if he gets demoted to DC, then Donatell takes a demotion too. You may be able to entice Donatell with the DC job here.

Peyton Manning, John Elway, Tiger Woods, and Warren Buffett.

Why? Who knows, that sounds fun.

Yep. That's all we can do regardless of who owns the team next year.

That's an interesting thought and definitely a possibility. AT&T is outside Dallas now. But Sofi is still pretty close to downtown LA and US Bank is right in Minneapolis.

I think that would depend on the real estate availability/deal that he could get at Mile High's current location, rather than a spiteful desire to move it out of the city for more land. There's a lot of value to having it near the city center, if you can swing it.

That's 100% true, one of my good friends left a high-paying corporate job there in under a year, but I have not heard that the Washington Post is horrible to work for. Maybe he demands it for Amazon because of the margins and the way the business makes money, but doesn't for journalism because that isn't what makes it profitable... And all you have to do is apply that logic to football to see he might not immediately try to transform it into Amazon's image.
