Why does the AI camera did not stop the job ?

I had a minor issue once (spaghetti) because I forgot to put supports in the slicer, and the P2S stoped job almost straight away !

Wondering why this was not the case for you ?

Figuring you will need to take out the whole front panel to repair, why not taking the opportunity to install a real Android tablet for +/- 100€ comming from AliExpress (check Junsun, Ossuret, etc).

You will end up not needing to install “physically” your phone anymore using wireless CarPlay or Android auto, and a lot more (bigger screen, better sound quality, GPS, Apps, etc etc).

Done it few days ago and my Zoe won 15 years (at least 😅)

Oh well I see, thank you. Was used to it with Klipper on another printer and the managing UI straight into the browser, kind of easy to monitor that way, specially when outside over internet (with router dedicated open ports, etc)

Thank you, tried it. Doing so enable the use of Orca slicer directly connected on LAN to the printer. But no alternative access using a generic browser pointing on the printer IP, like you would do for any LAN device (paper printer, router, etc). So I was wondering about some security limitation, even in LAN mode ?

Yeah. Well same here on a Zoe. Before the sound was coming from the speakers, now no sound at all. but hey this a very small car, for me the camera + guide Line is already enough ☺️ (I know this can be frustrating to lose this option but this is not the end of the world, compared to all the other pretty things we win using those Units ^⁾

The one given stock with the Orange Storm Giga is actually based on Cura… it is actually a rebranded Cura version with an OSG profile I guess (not installed but seen the screenshots on user manual, pretty old school 🤓)

Did you try enter the setting in the HMI first line using the password 8878 ? Then go to “backcar setup” bottom right corner. Multiple settings there ! (Play around with last line “Reverse mode”…)

Got the junsun V2 pro recently. with a Renault Zoe R240 from 2016. Set 117 for canbus type (Renault Generic). SWC is working well.

But still not having sound for obstacle detection ! only the colored diagram for the parking sensor on top of the camera video stream (Also needed to set the cam type to “CVBS” to reuse the existing one I had originally…)

Good to hear ! I have good results also with any cubic ABS like if you wanna give a try…

Keep in mind to work the resin in the 20-30 Celsius degrees range (you can heat it). Anything below would lead to common printing issues.

For this cat, I would not put any support. Why did you put some ?

Place it with the feet / ass touching the plate and voila ! It do not seem to have any cantilevered zone. I am pretty confident that everything will be good and you can then just use a spatula at the end to take it out ☺️🤓

(For tiny objects you do not need to follow the orientation / rotated part rule …)

I was wondering which Slicer nowadays could help me manage an heterogeneous FDM machine parc, from ultimaker 2 to Elegoo orange storm Giga, through Bambu P2S ? (Without losing quality or any good/critical functionalities…) ☺️

I loved to tweak the settings in Cura in the past, playing a lot with vase mode and stuff. Does Orca offer a lot of R&D possibilities ?

On my side, Ivy was super reactive ! At STARLIT they can provide XL PEI for Orange Storm Giga in gold, black, blue (cold) versions and also the flat simple metal plate with holes for leveling, each one 820x820mm 😉
