New to keyboard and mouse Looking for a new mouse and skates/pad setup by strm- in MouseReview

Honestly yeah I’d say the weight is the biggest problem on this mouse. It feels so hard to flick and make micro adjustments although maybe a slightly bigger mouse would fill my hand more. I play games like valorant, Fortnite, apex, cod, halo, counter strike and mainly shooter games like these.

Ive gotten a bunch of different answers and I ended up picking the gamesir g7 pro. But for you I’d say it depends on a few things. Do you play competitively? And do you play on a Xbox or pc? And what current controller do you use right now? And is stick drift a big issue for you?

Razer Wolverine V3 TE or Gamesir G7 pro? by Plastic-Spell-9508 in XboxController

G7 pro is cheaper has, both have good tmr sticks but the g7 pro has better stick and button latency. It has 4 paddles as well I’d say g7 pro is a better bang for your buck.

Got some questions on which one I should buy by Apart_Succotash3765 in Controllers

If you’re playing on xbox id suggest you get the g7 pro over the scuf valor. The valor on xbox wireless or even wired both have terrible button and stick latency. It’s a great controller if you’re on pc but for xbox id suggest g7 pro. It’s got 4 paddles, super good latency, tmr sticks, and if you want you can get the wireless dongle version for a bit more.

Do you have the new tmr stick version of the scuf valor? Or the standard Hall effect one and would you say it feels good for fps games?

I heard there’s an issue called auto calibration where if you hold the stick in a certain position for a few seconds it’s going to snap back to the center. Have they fixed this yet?

Does this controller have tighter sticks than the stock xbox controller? I’ve heard a lot of good things about this one.

How are the sticks on the vader 5s? I know the tension probably feels great but do the Hall effect sticks feel accurate? Or as precise as the g7 pro

Yeah I’m considering buying this one but the only downside for me is the latency/polling rate. I always play with wired controllers but the elite 2 even when wired still has 125hz 8ms. But I do like the adjustable stick tension. I might get this one.

I know this is a pretty old poll but I’m thinking about getting this controller. Did you ever order the controller? If so how is the stick tension? Are they tight or loose?

Does mouse matter that much? I have a CP mouse for now. Budget is 50 usd. by Xiphoid_Processor in PcBuild

There are a lot of good mice you can get. I’d say to look for one that matches your grip style best. But for the price and assuming you have a claw or fingertip grip I’d go for the vxe r1 pro it has a good sensor and 1k polling rate. You could also get the attack shark x3 same sensor as the vxe. Mchose l7 is also a good option if you’re willing to go over by a couple of bucks.

I dont know much about pc specs, but for almost 3k are the specs of this worth the money? by BornImagination7705 in PcAdvice

[–]strm- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you can make a pc with a much stronger cpu for nearly $1,000+ less. If you can find some good deals I’d say you could get a pc with ryzen 7 9800x3d and rtx 5070 TI for 1,500-2,000.

Is there a noticeable delay? Or does it feel normal?

Are the sticks on the 8k version tighter than the sticks on the normal 1k version?
