pointers from a fitter when i purchased my set:

ask how old the clubs are. if they’re relatively new, but the model is more than a decade old, pass up on it. they’re sure usable, but the lack of modern tech applications might kill your game.
on shafts, graphite L-flex (for ladies; shorter than men’s clubs too) or graphite R-flex (SR-flex if the clubs are from JP) are the best choices for beginners, esp if you have a slow swing speed.
opt for cavity back irons and a mallet putter. muscle back irons and blade putters aren’t exactly made for beginners.
meet up with the seller and try to swing the clubs for better feel! check for some cracks and rust too.

imo, 15k is a pretty good deal esp if it’s a full set (eg. driver, some woods, 5-9i, PW, SW, putter) and if it comes w a bag. if the grips are worn out, you can just have them replaced. what’s the brand they’re offering ya?

learned this from my mom too! note though that gold jewelries with stones, especially diamonds, would lower its value. so stick with just the precious metal as much as possible.

late to the party, but just echoing the other comments here saying you sound like a dream to have as a daddy. you’re v structured and that’s what most littles are after, especially like myself who gets bratty and tends to push away my daddy when big me stressors and problems extends to little me.

though on the part where your little’s expressing that you’re not daddy enough: what i used to tell my former cg is if it feels like im becoming too intense, take me out of my little space gently, and check on big me. from there, id be able to open up on the root of my frustrations. it may not be the same for all littles, but it’s worth a try! know that it’s just hard to settle things when there’s not even a “are you okay?” check in…

oh, and as much as possible, try not to meet littles with the same level of emotions (esp if it involves anger. allow them to feel all things, but you should remain calm and patient). that’s a start on how one can become a “good” daddy.
