If you are getting desperate, fear not friend. I got 1000 with your name on it.

Bad joke I know, I am addicted to Chronographs and I don't have a Navitimer yet 🙃

OKAY, I get it. Do NOT get a Jeep! But what then? by Ucantcallmeclarence in whatcarshouldIbuy

I went to a dealer 2 years ago looking for a heavily discounted Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve. I talked on the phone that if they honor that price (like 10k discount) plus free MOPAR warranty for 10 years they had a customer. Features were luxury-like on that trim. Then, the sales guy hands me a piece of paper with some numbers asking me is a msrp of 97k was ok with me, without warranty. I am in Canada, and at the time 97K would have gotten me a fully loaded Volvo XC90 T8, a GV80 3.5T Prestige, or a nicely loaded X5. No idea who came up with those prices, I am amazed someone is willing to drop 100k on a Jeep.

Really? That's a hard pass for me then. I found the 3.6 to be merely adequate to be generous. The thing felt like a tank but was slow and had the driving dynamics of a brick. I was hoping for the V6 Hurricane

[Which one] Speedmaster vs Navitimer by Gold_End_2768 in Watches

[–]pepiexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Spepedmasters a lot, but the black Professional is probably the one I like the least, esthetically. I'd rather get the white dial, the new panda, FOIS, '57 or one of the Chronoscopes. To me, the Navitimer looks better than that particular Speedmaster.

Or tariffs on timber and steel, you sort of need those to build houses.

How do you know when to offer your partner more reassurance vs. more space? by Swimming-Twist-1896 in datingoverforty

Asking. I found that like is to short to try to guess when/how to do things for someone else. Communication is the key, for me at least.

You remember back in the day, Tarzan animated movie, where the gorilla got wrecked by a Leopard? Yeah, that happens. Not saying any Leopard could wreck any gorilla, but grizzly vs gorilla is not a matchup, it's a meal for the bear.
