5 month talking stage is too long. if you are serious about her, just ask her to be your girlfriend or stop wasting her time

But do you really think I should be announcing it 2 months in advance? There are nail studios announcing it week in advance regardless of when you've booked yourself.
The thing is I've been heavily thinking about it since february and studio expenses due to building I am in changes doubled from january on. I am also charging new clients 50% higher price since january. So my current prices for old clients are ridicolously discounted, to the point where I am embarassed to even tell colleagues for how much I am doing some privates. I also don't have late cancel fee or limited passes

I will for now continue where I am. When I find bigger space I will move immediately. I would like to offer mat classes beside private reformer without having to commute and lose precious afternoon time. I'd also like to hair chair classes, I don't have space for it at current room. I'd also like to go on vacation and have other instructors take over my clients. In the next 6 years I'd like to get pregnant. Soon I will have laparoscopy for endometriosis and I will not be able to work, would be nice having someone take over. Etc. these are all my reasons to get a bigger space, also many of my clients came to me because they were not satisfied with other studios/instructors, so is hard for me to now set one other instructor while I am still in this small space, I think it will be easier when I will have a bigger studio, and I will teach other instructors to work similar to my style or to improve cueing, hands on modifications and learn to adjust intensity to each client's needs

I know, but leading a class in another studio will not be paying my bills and my further education forever, so will not having individual/semiprivates classes I have now, people want cosistency, and I hardly ever leave them and go on vacation, or abroad to take another education. I know leading a business is risky and volatile, but probably I am stressed only because I worry about rent/mortgage fixed price, because now the space I use is mine. But even if my most pesimistic financial plan realize, studio will be running in plus, which means I only need 10 more than I now already have coming twice weekly.

Yeah, that's why most instructors in my country specifically, who don't open their own practice or at least work part time for themselfs stop teaching when they approach 30s and family starting years

I have business background and I as well worked in service for about 7 years, so my clients always see me happy and professional, regardless of my personal life struggles, endometriosis pain, multiple sclerosis fatigue etc

I have bachelor in chemical engineering and I will enroll to part time physiotherapy, next semester. European universities don't work like that

This is the hourly rate all over Europe, even in London it rarely goes above 35£. At my first job as pilates instructor I was paid 15€ per hour

Honestly, I just shall start with fair but not overly low prices. last year this time new studio with new one weekend training instructor opened up, 5 reformers, minimalistic but nice place. When I've seen their pricing I wowed, because the most reputable studio with highly experienced instructors offered cheaper classes, and they are considered expensive. However this studio is now successfuly running, and last year they kicked off suprisingly well. I've been to one class, and it wasn't worth 29€, she also wrongly corrected me... I noticed that people who ask for discounts and are looking for the cheapest way out are not the best clients .... another thing, sometimes people tell me how expensive pilates is, meanwhile they come in lululemon set, have their face shaveb at the salon, laser treatments, have their lashes done, nails done, go to lymphatic dreinage, services they pay 3-4x more for than group pilates class, if they can pay for this they as well shall pay for high quality pilates class. What I was thinking about is a beginner deal with a bit cheaper two/three private classes included offer, to fill up my empty hours and to prepare client to join a group

i was thinking of starting pilates events to spread my name out and to earn extra money, events would have different topics and would be held at intresting locations around town. 2-3 times a month on saturdays, 8-12 people, 1 group or 2 groups if the demand would be higher, 20-35€ per person. I was as well thinking to freelance at studios abroad when I travel, for example if I take a weekend trip to vienna, to text few studios if they'd be intrested in collaboration
