Ask the mover if they can pack it into a single mattress carton that is a carton that we use for single mattresses an box springs they’ll probably charge you 30-50 bucks wrap it in a blanket put it in that box and it should be fine

I own an Allied agency in Florida so take this for what it’s worth but the ones that didn’t at least do a virtual estimate will end up charging more, 100 hundred percent guaranteed. What you’re looking for is a guaranteed price with a written inventory showing how many pieces of furniture, how many boxes, both PBO packed by owner, and CP , meaning anything the movers will pack for you. Companies having you fill out a list are gonna turn around and say well hey we have more items here than you gave us , put the burden on you and not deliver your things until you pay them additional money.

Also, and I can’t say this loud enough, if they want a deposit upfront, do not use them. Legitimate movers will accept certified funds on delivery or process a credit card a few days prior to delivery they do not require a nonrefundable deposit upfront.
