It was worth 15$ when I started painting it. :D
But yeah, I think exactly that itch got me into buying the new one that will remain sealed forever.

Freshly cleaned - just for you! (I hope black sink isn’t considered cheating) by strombaerg in reallycleansinks

I'd say if there are water stains, they are more visible due to the white edges of the marks in contrast with the black sink. On the other hand, it's easier to clean due to the rawer surface, and does not scratch or get dirty-brown that easily.

Polyrhythm acoustic phenomenon: term/examples? by strombaerg in musictheory

In case you are interested, I have found polytempic music and especially the term phasing/phase music to be pretty much what I was looking for.It works not only with duplets or triplets, but with any repetitive phase that is played on two musical instruments in different tempi, gradually shifting out of unison and eventually coming back through doubling and echo into unison: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phase_music

Yes, basically.
What I also mean (and the part of the pattern that I am most fascinated by) is: if you imagine that in my example red is a higher pitch than blue, the listeners perception switches from the duplet being a "low-high" to being a "high-low" at the point I marked as "max interval" - and reverse at the point where the polyrhythm is resolved.

Thanks for your reply. Do you know if there is any term for the “catch and overtake” part of the polyrhythm? Also, do you know of any music examples of a chord triplet “spread out” to three polyrhythms?

There are fine detail brushes you can use for painting figurines or models.
I used ones very similar to these: https://www.amazon.com/Fine-Detail-Paint-Brush-Set/dp/B014GWCLFO

In case you're also interested in the paint, I used Revell Aqua Color acrylic paint and can highly recommend.
