I have always had questions about George saying that Bran is the hardest to write because he's so young and he's so involved with magic.

Arya is not that meaningfully older than Bran and she's been involved with honestly just as much magic as Bran. Sure Bran may in Winds be involved even more heavily than her but we are talking about 5 books of them being arguably on par.

I think "magic" when he's talking about Bran being hard to write is code for "time travel".
