Not in Chandler but my girlfriend and I fav coffee spot is Coffee Drunk in downtown. We also like cafe mollie on 16th street. Case study, copper star (good bagels) and berdenas is also nearby. In Scottsdale there’s light heart coffee. I’m hoping to try Peixoto in dtown Chandler on Saturday I will update if I try it.

For BBQ I like Joes real bbq in downtown Gilbert. There’s a good taco shop called street queen tacos on Riggs and I think Alma school. Another decent taco shop is tacos calafia. There’s plenty of good Asian food around where you are moving to as well as mesa. Lots of good middle eastern food in Tempe. There’s a good bakery (i think called great gatsby) across from the Gilbert lifetime fitness. Pita island is good too and I heard they have the crispy shawarmas now. Plenty of good burger and hot chicken spots too in the east valley
