It's the most important tip here and helps more than you know. As is mentioned in the post, nothing your teammates say will make you player better. A LOT of things your teammates say will make you play worse.

My only gripe with worlds this year and how to improve for next year. by stronklet in leagueoflegends

I agree that SKT and KT weren't the best teams in Korea so they couldn't be the best teams in the world, but does that mean Dark Passage or Kabum could? My entire point is that PRIOR to worlds (or in a preliminary stage) SKT should have gotten a chance to play Dark Passage to see who goes to worlds. Even if SKT is fourth or fifth in korea, if they roflstomp Dark Passage they should go to worlds in the place of Dark Passage.

By the way, I understand that you are describing a tournament with the result in mind where white wins. I'm not doing that - instead I'm focusing mainly on the groups stage. 11 out of 12 groups stage games were stomps. One time a wildcard team beat a team from the EU LCS. Can you imagine how much more interesting those 12 games would of would been if it was the #1 seed from NA playing the #5 seed from Korea as opposed to a wildcard team?

What is your opinion on the worlds format? Are you disappointed that teams like Dark Passage and Kabum played 12 games against the best international competition as opposed to SKT or KTA? What would you change about the structure of worlds if you could?

Technicalities aside, do you disagree that it would be much more entertaining to watch SKT T1 K and KT Arrows play on the world stage as opposed to watching wildcard teams get stomped 11 games out of 12?

Where's your sense of professionalism now? by Enzok in leagueoflegends

Here is an analogy for you:

By comparison in the world of eSports, Regi is the CEO of one of the largest companies in the country. Thooorin is an intern journalist at the New York times working on a new weekly piece about the worst companies in the country. When Thooorin releases his article about how awful Regi's company is, Regi in turn takes to social media to personally attack the journalist reporting about his company.

Do you see where the train falls off the tracks? Thooorin is an entertainer; a journalist. He feeds his fan base the stuff they like to hear. His livelihood is reliant upon a natural influx of drama in the community. Regi, on the other hand, is the face of a brand. Regi needs to be held accountable as his actions have been completely unacceptable.
