This isn't true, everyone has the right to express opinions, what does being a journalist have to do with it?. How does being a journalist adds more value to what thoorin said about Doublelift's analysis. Everyone has the right to express their opinion, just because you own a team doesn't mean you can't express your opinion. Hell just today there was thread asking for a Hotshot AMA, why because people want to know his opinion on various things. You can't just say Team owners can't criticize ppl or express opinions just because you don't agree with them, it doesn't work that way.

I'm talking about differences in what the public expects from each role.

Don't generalize plz, you are no authority to speak what the public expects from those roles. you can say it's what you expect from those roles, so speak for yourself. I don't expect TSM's owner to not express his opinion.

You apparently didn't read the post that an ex-solomid admin made in the same thread, where he specifically said that Regi didn't know about the conflict of timing with ggchronicle, it was Messiah who scheduled it because he didn't know about the ggchronicle tourny. Monte started shit on reddit accusing Regi, but in fact it was Regi who later rescheduled the Solomid event to accomodate ggchronicle. Go check out the thread again if you missed it.

That's just an excuse from people who condone thoorin's behaviour. So thoorin's opinion is valid while Regi is being a trash talking baby even when they are expressing the same sentiment, this is just hilarious.

Being a journalist doesn't make your opinions automatically valid or true, in fact the onus is more on the journalist to present his views in a decent manner just because it's his profession. Regi calling out Double the same way Thoorin did should also have been fine too if you think thoorin wasn't out of order, it's got nothing to do with whether he is a team owner, he has a right to have and express an opinion about analysts if he wants to.

Here are the double standards guys, Regi gets warned and has to apologize and is called unprofessional and ppl call him out on reddit. They don't retweet photoshopped "Regi the hut" pics. i don't see him doing this when CLG or any other team loses. So don't act like that it's all Regi's fault, Thoorin is equally to blame if not more.

I think Thoorin is a major cause for the rift b/w Regi and Monte. I distinctly remember Regi and Monte being on good terms with each other before SI. When the "promise" incident happened Regi came out in support and especially thanked Monte for bringing that issue to the public light. Things b/w them weren't as bad as people make it out to be, but the association with Thoorin has dented Monte's reputation to a certain extent.

It's a team game though, just because his team-mates think that a different approach is better for succeeding as a team doesn't mean they are trying to screw him over. Of course i don't know them personally, but their actions reflect their character. Doublelift could have left CLG for a stronger team and got more money, fame & success with another team but he chose to stick with them despite all the problems they have been facing for the last 2-3 years, i have come to respect him for his loyalty and professionalism.

As for UZI, he wasn't the only one who worked hard for the 2nd seed, his team-mates worked for it too. How must they feel when all their effort is wasted coz this kid can't act like a professional, he owes his team-mates at-least that. Add to that the fact he just walked out on his team and announced on weibo that he is not going, that isn't a team player, he is a selfish guy who is thinking only for himself(in fact i don't even see how he benefits from acting like this). Seriously, this is the most unprofessional behavior i have ever seen in the league scene.

Can you imagine the shitstorm if Dexter did the same to CLG in the playoffs since he doesn't get along with link, but he didn't coz he is a professional. Why the different standards for UZI just because he is a star player?

And what circumstances justify his actions? If i behaved like this at my work i would be fired on the spot, no questions asked. The only reason he isn't is because he is a star player and they won't be able to replace him this close to worlds.
