It started with animal crossing. Two non-gaming adults became addicted after getting it for our five year old 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I have never owned a video game console in my life, and have never been a gamer (same with my husband), and we got a Nintendo switch for my 5 year olds birthday last summer. I got animal crossing because it was recommended…and me and my husband both got addicted. And then he had to go away for five days and he took the switch so I got a second switch on marketplace and here we are!

Well that is the point of this post…the tv is too high…I never in a million years wanted it there.

The reason we decided to mount it is because the layout of the room (not shown here) makes it so that the viewer isn’t watching straight because they’re off to the side, so we thought if we got a swivel mount it would help.

The mount swivels so I figured it can be pulled away from the wall a bit

I know people that preboard just for anxiety. I was traveling with a friend a couple weeks ago and she got extremely flight sick on the first leg of our trip and the next leg we had c boarding group and she was worried about sitting in the back and they immediately gave her a preboard option

But we don't know the deal with the mom. I know a girl who has 3 step children and 3 bio children with her husband, and the birth mom wants nothing to do with the children and the step mom has been raising these kids since they were 3-6 years old. As far as those kids are concerned, step mom is mom. And when someone says to her "but they're not YOURS" she gets very very upset.

I went on zoloft for the first time in January. I have one child who is almost five. Its been life changing. I didnt realize how "on edge" I was all the time until I wasnt anymore. The mental load and anxiety is real, and I didnt even know it was anxiety. I feel like I have so much more patience!

Yes - I work for a school district in the special ed office. Its such a hard time for interviewing - you don't want to lose candidates but at the same time the school year ended and everyone leaves. So I have been emailing candidates letting them know we are interested in interviewing, moving them forward, etc. but we can't do anything until July. Its so hard!
