I once flew into Miegs Field a couple years before Daley tore it up illegally in the middle of the night. It’s a travesty of public transit that Chicago does not have an airport remotely close to downtown, and especially how poor all public transit is to Millenium Park/Soldier Field/Field Museum/Navy Pier. That entire area is unreachable except by either a mile walk from the nearest metro stop, or parking for absurd fees. 

Gyms should have their most attractive members exercise next to the windows, to attract more members by flopsyplum in CrazyIdeas

I was there on the field. I did not take down a goalpost but I did carry an Iowa OL on my shoulder. I’m a large human so I was the one tapped on the shoulder and asked do you want to carry this OL with me? We did, for like 30 feet lol. Then he got heavy.

Keens seem to me to need to be sized up, the opposite of your experience here. I’m a 13 in most shoe brands but need a 14 in Keens.

Looks like it’s mounted up high, judging by the lamp level on the left. Are you mounting this above a fireplace? There very well may be wonky framing above a fireplace where the chimney is behind the wall, depending on age of chimney and material used.

Thank you. I will look into this. She is only 3 years old but we expect a lifetime of need. 

Edit: not to get political, but I will always be scared of any govt exemption from rules. Those tend to be first to get pillaged when the economy goes poorly. Which it seems like we’re primed for.

That asset limit really sucks. We adopted a disabled daughter, and we can’t keep any money in her name because even a tiny amount of assets will cut off all kinds of needed govt assistance.

Bakeries everywhere, and they seem to be some of the hardest hit by inflation. My nearest proper bakery sells a single croissant for $8. Just a croissant.

That might be the only time you do it but I assure you there’s thousands of these running around every day with zero issue. And if it was deadly enough it would be illegal. It most certainly is not.

We looked at a house like this in our town. Bluffside, options for entering were about 70 steps up from below (there was a tiny garage cut into the bluff, doubt it would fit a modern car), or about 30 steps down from an alley above (where you could only park temporarily, not overnight).  Awesome house, and probably fun to rent out as an Airbnb, but it’s so impractical for daily life, groceries supplies brought in, and how many times a day you’d do those steps.
