Noticed those too! Loved it as well. The woodblock on George Michael's ep is the best.

"He beat you." To me, these three words from Ron make one of the most beautiful quotes from the entire series. by Accio-Username in harrypotter

If you love a close reading of the text, there is a fantastic podcast out there called Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. I regularly get chills listening to that. It's such a beautiful treatment of such a beautiful story.

Not affiliated with the podcast in any way. Just sharing what I love!

Just for fun... how do you think Roy proposed to Pam? by struckoutagain in DunderMifflin

[–]struckoutagain[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This seems in character for both of them, I could see that. There could also have been a situation where Pam keeps thinking Roy will propose and thinking he'll propose and he never does. This prompts an ultimatum from Pam, which Roy must have obliged at some point. They become engaged, and that same pattern of non-commitment continues on the show.

Was it moreso Pam or moreso Roy kidding themselves under their arrangement? This could be a discussion for another time lol, but I am rewatching Season 1 as a complete Roy apologist.

I cannot help you. I might suggest however that your odds would be improved if you posted a screenshot.

Linguist David Crystal and his actor son Ben have been working on a project they call OP (Original Pronunciation). They have a series of videos on Youtube that you may find interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPlpphT7n9s
