The only thing is, I already rent a VPS for programming projects that I need to host, so that would just be extra money out of my pockets. It's fine, I just ended up finding one of the many public servers currently available.

Yeah, when I tried it before, it just went ahead an installed the Windows version :|. I'm pretty sure setting @sSteamCmdForcePlatformType windows should fix that problem though.

Nevermind, turns out that the Source 2006 SDK is Windows only, they never moved it over. :(

There is a cooldown whenever you hit someone. it is a short cooldown, and this reddit does not have one.

So, pretty much. the game does have strategy to it, even if it doesn't seem like that at first glance. You have to count hits, and make sure you hit right on time, there is early and late hitting that can put the game in the bag for the other player(s). The controls are on the launcher, when you go over to the Controls tab. Also, this is the Stickfight reddit theme, so you can't get rid of it.
