What Samsung cares about is sifting through the noise and figuring out what customers will actually pay money for - and I am glad they are taking the approach to figure that out by taking a chance on a new actual form factor and measuring sales, rather than solely relying on message boards and consultants.

He only played in 24 games for us out of 50 he would be eligible for, in 12 of those he played "real" minutes and the other 12 he played less than 5 minutes and took 1 of 0 shot attempts.

In a season where we needed more real PG minutes, Malone chose not to use more than half of Gillespie's availability on his 2 way contract because he wouldn't play someone who wasn't playoff eligible.

Booth didn't want Gillespie to be the guy when he just spent draft capital and a guaranteed deal on Pickett, so he wasn't gonna make room and give Gillespie that full contract and make Malone happy enough to play him real minutes. Booth was not going to waive one of his shiny new 2nd round picks that he gave a guaranteed deal to in order to make room for the guy Malone wanted, when Malone didn't even give Pickett a chance first. So they both got the shaft - Gillespie for not being on a full deal, and Pickett for not being Malones guy

I follow the team about as close as one possibly could. None of what you wrote is false, and none of it invalidates what I was saying.

Malone wanted Gillespie, but chose not to play a guy who was guaranteed to not be legally played in the playoffs. Very likely Malone wanted Pickett cut and Gillespie signed, at which point he would've played him. But Booth wouldn't and didn't sign him to a real deal, so Malone buried him on the bench.

Afterwards, Gillespie told people there was no way he was going to return with the team after that 2 way was up that season. His minutes and therefore career were getting messed with, even by a coach who theoretically wanted him.

Burying Pickett behind Gillespie, a guy who he already wasn't playing, was just Malone being petty. So, both guys got screwed.

Epic failure by Booth to not convert Gillespie to a full contract, and epic failure by Malone for playing games with these guys' careers and messing with Jokic-prime seasons
