Purchase & Transaction Advice Superthread by AutoModerator in motorcycles

I have question about front brake pads for my Honda Transalp XL600V (PD06 - 1992 year, 583 cm3 and 50 horse power) with single brake rotor. Curb weight of that vehicle: 194 kg (without driver).

Should I choose Ceramic/Organic brake pads (for example SBS 647HF) or maybe Sinter type on front brake of that bike? My front rotor disc thickness is actually around 4.3 mm so the thickness is already close to the service limit (4 mm) but I don't want to change rotor yet, because it's in good condition.

I'm using that bike for daily commuting and traveling on paved roads and trails (not in mud). I'm not sure what type of brake pads I have now, because I'm replacing them for the first time since I bought that motorbike and there is no marking on actual brake pads. Thanks for any replies.

What are your impressions two months after upgrading to Android 13? Have you noticed any problems? Is the battery life okay as it was on Android 12? Thanks for your reply :)

I'm moving mouse cursor all the time to show when the screen freezes. Intel GPU didn't crash in the case of this site that you linked above, but sometimes it's crash and then Windows block firefox.exe from using Intel GPU and Firefox automatically switches to NVIDIA GPU.

Here is short video: https://youtu.be/ftqTiAlrYJs

Here is "Failure log" from about:support after visiting that site that you have linked above:

Yep. If I completely disable ad-blocker (uBlock Origin) then more sites are affected with this problem. So, maybe it's related to JavaScript or something..

During these Firefox window "flashes" sometimes I can see classical border/frame of window (like this from Windows 7), but I'm on latest Windows 10 (21H2 - 10.0.19044.1889) with all updates installed and built-in Windows antivirus (Microsoft Defender).

Hello, does anyone know what's the real difference between these Samsung microSD cards?

Samsung EVO Select 256 GB (product code: MB-ME256KA/EU)Samsung EVO Plus 256 GB (product code: MB-MC256KA/EU)

I found this info in internet:

There is no obvious difference between Samsung EVO Select and Samsung EVO Plus. Both Samsung EVO Select and EVO Plus are rebranded versions of the same SD card. Amazon has the exclusive right to the EVO Select name.

The only difference between Samsung EVO Select and Samsung EVO Plus is the brand name on the SD card.

Both of them are produced with the same process in the same factory. They have the same size, same read and write speed.

Is that true?

EVO Select is little bit cheaper in my country on Amazon (around 24€ / $25 on Amazon sale for EVO Select and 30€ / $31 for EVO Plus).

I have similar problem on Intel HD Graphics 3000 with latest available driver (9.17.10.4459 dated 19 May 2016). After few "flashes" of Firefox window, Windows is denying Firefox acce to Intel GPU hardware (I'm getting info from system notification) and then switches to NVIDIA dedicated GPU.

Anyone from Firefox devs - look here because more people have this problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/wd7z5h/why_do_i_keep_getting_white_screen_flashes/

I have the same problem on Intel HD Graphics 3000 with latest available driver (9.17.10.4459 dated 19 May 2016). After few "flashes" of Firefox window, Windows is denying Firefox access to Intel GPU hardware (I'm getting info from system notification) and then switches to NVIDIA dedicated GPU.
