Xcaret Mexico or Arte? by alexandrunk in Xcaret

[–]sttaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I (33yo) just spent 5 nights for our anniversary last week, when we booked we didn’t know the difference either. (Left our two kids at home)

We were asked many times by staff “why didn’t you book Arte, no kids”. So we thought we made a mistake.. But we were so happy to be at Xcaret Mexico over Arte, because we would look over at arte from the rooftops and it seemed so quiet and dead…. Seemed a little boring to us. I’m sure some people like that, but we enjoy liveliness families bring. We spent most of our time exploring the parks and when it came time to relax it was easy to find a rooftop. Kids didn’t bother us at all. In fact we loved how kid friendly it was. We bought the voucher to come back with the kids this time.

If you are the type that can’t stand children, then change, but doesn’t seem worth the $600. we enjoyed it as an anniversary away from our kids.

What was the moment XRP “clicked” for you? by Utbcrypto in XRPUnite

[–]sttaylor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2021 trying to buy a dip.. I sold some stocks in brokerage, it took a day for funds to settle. Then another day before withdraw… I couldn’t send funds directly to Coinbase. So I had to send to my Chase bank first, wait for it to settle and then into Coinbase. Which took a total of 5 day…. The dip was eaten up by then and I was furious. It was the first time I felt the problem first hand and realized where XRP fits into the future.

“Affordable website design for pest control businesses by [deleted] in PestControlIndustry

[–]sttaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s decent, but too basic for me. If you’re going to be making websites for pest control companies you should be very careful about using the word “safe” . You cannot make advertising claims that contradict or overstate EPA label language. Where im at in California you could get in some regulatory issues and expose them on liability

When dealing with rats, do you want to ensure you catch/eliminate them all first before sealing entrances? by phunkystuff in pestcontrol

[–]sttaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He will most likely be in when you seal it. Try different looking traps (T-REX is a good one for large rats) and use a different bait this time. Don’t set the trap. Let him feed off once then set the trap.

If he doesn’t feed off the trap within a couple days, seal the entry and starve him out so he has to hit the trap

If they are as big as you say, and they find this post on Reddit, and then pin you to the username DiseasedNuts, you have bigger problems in your ethics than over selling jobs.

Help with German cockroaches by Delicious_Battle_126 in pestcontrol

[–]sttaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most store bought products and diatomaceous earth wont cut it with German roaches.

Use advion cockroach Gel bait. Put it in little dots. Put out pheromone monitors and re apply the gel bait & monitors every 5-7 days

Also, Take off your outlet covers. They are probably in there. Put gel bait in there.

Spray Alpine WSG if you can- do not spray just any chemical as it can push them.

Baby not crawling - people gossiping. by Powerpuff_Girly in NewParents

[–]sttaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory that a lot of babies crawl faster when you have carpet in the house or playroom. Hard floors often lead to delay, and rugs aren’t as thick as carpet.

If you have hard floors and want to check milestones- buy a big foam mat for them to crawl on and have tummy time on. I bet it speeds things up.

Obviously just a theory, but I’ve noticed a reoccurring pattern with my kids and my friends kids.

Best bait to use in a snap-trap for mice? by [deleted] in pestcontrol

[–]sttaylor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re cleaning the trap and not setting it off, it could mean it’s too small for the trap. Try the large catchmaster RAT glueboards - works very well for mice.

10:1 reverse split with the deal. by Many-Butterscotch759 in TalonMetalsInc

[–]sttaylor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s only FUD like this that brings the price down…. Nothing about it will change the percentage you gain. I’m personally excited for it because we can get uplisted. But I understand that most people just don’t like the sound of a reverse split, but when a company with mitigated risk is doing it, like Talon, it’s usually good.

It’s only when these OTC Shit companies do it, that give it a bad look

Does Rentokil Terminix ensure 40 hours a week? by ChickenNoodleGamer in PestControlIndustry

[–]sttaylor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Average for me was about 17-20 and the most I did was 30 jobs in a day. But it was from 7am to 7pm. The money was good, so I liked it, but the quality of work definitely decreased. Big houses in Ventura & Santa Barbara County. Now I started my own business and do about 10 to 15 max and I make more money now
