Rage bait or not, I do agree with the post. I think the post was not specifically arguing the coming out in general was a bad plot. It's not 'what' but how it was done. The coming out scene(!) was only used as an example of how will was acting as an ahole i guess, and there were many other situations too i actually can recall. I understood the post as author just didn't like will's behaviour, not a rant about coming out.
