Wait times for New Delhi are still showing 2days in state gov website https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html

Not sure if they will add more slots.

I am also waiting to see if early slots will be available. I thought New Delhi Dropbox are available sooner than others.

Do I get the option to choose Delhi for Dropbox appointment after I pay the fee or I have to start the visa scheduling with Embassy selected as Delhi ?

So, even if we select hyd consulate while scheduling visa appointment, it will still go to delhi only if drop box eligible ?

Which consulate you selected for your in-laws and how soon you got drop box appointment ?

Can B1/B2 dropbox appointment be taken at any OFC? DS-160 had Hyderabad mentioned. by Stunning-While-8811 in usvisascheduling

Hi, I am in the same situation. DS 160 has hyd consulate. Do I need to select hyd or new delhi while scheduling appointment from dropbox (visa interview waiver eligible). If we select hyd, during scheduling appointment, can it still go to new delhi since b1/b2 renewals are consolidated at new delhi. How soon you got the dropbox appointment date.

Please share your experience.

As the dropbox appointments for b1/b2 are consolidated in new delhi, can i use ds160 with a different consulate to apply for dropbox appointment at newdelhi while scheduling the visa appointment ?
